I understand the philosophy behind being objective in ones opinion but I also remember reading somewhere about legendary psychoanalyst Carl Jung who once propounded the theory of the complexity of human mind and how it only sees what it wants and blatantly ignores the rest resulting in believing something to be true even when it is false and vice versa. I am saying all these as I am very opinionated about Shah Rukh Khan (I know this very objectively) and there is no way I am going to write a review on a movie starring him in a negative way.
As objectively as I can be I think and feel this movie is worth a watch. If you are one of those SRK maniacs this movie is obviously one of the best you might have seen in recent times. Even if you aren't his fan go watch this and become one. Shah Rukh tries it all - comedy, action, stunts, dancing, singing, melodrama and romance and he does it all wonderfully well - Mind it! His expressions are worth all laurels in the world of acting. He can act stupid, silly and unconventional at once and serious, angry and hysterical experiencing varied emotions at other times.
I am not a huge fan of writing the plot of the flick in my reviews and I would like to stick to that this time. The movie is picturesquely shot capturing Doodsagar falls, Rameswaram and Wayanad amazingly well. Shah Rukh plays his character to the hilt (remember Carl Jung). Deepika plays the typical south Indian gal convincingly well and her style of dialogue delivery with the accent of a Tamil gal speaking Hindi is fantastic in a strange way to listen to. There is a bit of fight and action in this movie resembling many south Indian flicks.
Will this be a movie that would break all or any of the coveted box-office records? It doesn't matter and so go watch this movie and have fun. Well, let me aptly quote Shah Rukh - "I don't deal in numbers, I am a person who deals with feelings"
