Are you ready for the MAGIC? Yes, that young Pepsi guy who went bizarre with Shahrukh, Rani and Kajol is all set to heat up the dance floor with his new movie in hand, ‘Chance Pe Dance’. As the title goes which is the catch line itself, it must be a light hearted, fun and entertaining movie with a galore of dancing moves. And who else can give it the best shape other than Shahid Kapoor in the industry now.
I feel Shahid has surpassed Hritik(my all time favorite in all aspects) when it comes to dancing comparison. Rather, if I had been one of those Saroj Khans in the panel of judges, the award would surely go to Shahid Kapoor though Hritik happens to be my favorite. The way the guy brings every dancing move into a full circle, is complete finesse.
If Shahid gets groovy with his dancing skills, what makes him to be at his toes? Surely, it’s the music that scores high which will combine with Shahid’s steps to take your breath away. After ‘Lucky’ Adnan Sami as a music director got lost for sometimes in the race of other composers. I am sure this movie will be a good come back for him and his career. At least, best wishes for Sammy!
The ‘Chance Pe Dance’ soundtracks are high-paced songs that are aptly composed keeping in mind Shahid and only Shahid at his dancing best under Ken Ghosh’s direction. You will hear the music director Vishal Dhadlani in a different note carrying out a very powerful number ‘Pump it up’ and am dead sure when Shahid takes the floor on this number toh ‘hil jayegi yeh zameen bhi’.
Kunal Ganjawala too added his western flavor with his husky voice in two of the numbers ‘one more dance’ and ‘yaba daba yahoo’ ‘yaba daba yahoo’ is somewhat Shammi Kapoor style song which would recall Shammi Kapoor groovy dancing style. ‘Pe pe Pepping’ is another hip-hop Punjabi number that includes all great Punjabi mundas & kudis singing together like, Neeraj Shridhar, Master Saleem and Hard Kaur. Shaan along with Tulsi Kumar also bagged a sugary sweet song ‘Rishta hai mera’ which is soothing to ears. Well, one of the lookout of the movie’s songs is this song ‘Just do it’ which is composed by the director Ken Ghosh himself and it’s a rap come back to movies once again.
The songs are mostly cool numbers which can be enjoyed thoroughly with friends or under a funky mood. The songs are young and energetic to transform any boring corner to a disc. However, there is nothing extra ordinary or exception about the music composed. You must have heard this genre of music earlier and plenty of times. But, I have a feeling the music will surely hit all corners ‘coz Shahid is there to pump it all. So, guys n gals, it will be a treat to watch!
