Ashwini Sanghi is at present the best Indian author on historical fictions.
His second novel, “Chanakya ‘s Chant “ is a historical fiction that shows the contrast between Chanakya ‘s political prowess and a Gangadhar, a present day man.
It is a well woven thriller and filled with many a twists based on psychological foreplay that appeals to the intellect. Not only is “Chanakya ‘s Chant” a well written novel but also a well-researched novel filled with historical facts told in an interesting manner.
The author, Mr. Sanghi has put in a lot of time and effort in the construction of the novel which is quite apparent from the way he has used quotes to highlight events and the timing of the plot twists.
All in all, this novel will definitely appeal to the bibliophiles. The Unique Selling Point(USP) of the novel is the intricacies of plot twists and human manipulations to achieve goals.
I don’t really want to reveal the story base and hence have intentionally refrained from revealing the plot or hinted about it. Mark my words, this novel will restore your belief on the literary quality of Indian authored novels.
