Meet the New Bond. Review on Casino Royale Movie

YES,the 21st bond movie.....a lot of talk about it..i went all excited reading the mixed reviews here....and finally.after about 10 days...i go and watch it.and I really liked it.

James Bond..the new bond..and well,i'm not talikng about the character but i'm talking about Daniel Craig..the man who caused a furore and invited criticisms on being a choice as bond's new face.

I now feel sad for the man as personallly,i liked him.He plays bond like no ohter....and thats no bad thing!He's rough around the edges and not the suave stylish bond we are used to(brosnan).He plays bond with absolute virility...laughs at his torturers....cracks one liners....and kills with no mercy....and has his own opinion about everything.

TALKING POINT:

Here I think that this fact should be bought up:many bond fans think that this guy has not played bond as he should....well,i think theres another side to it....he is a new 007 agent and he as was before does not chage with immediate effect and shows snatches of waht he was before he was a 00.

THis is important to understand......its like a school kid who takes time to understand his surroundings....and after what bond goes through all the things in the movie....Physical pressure..an emotional involvment and a heartbreak of the saddest type....deception from his supposed friends and support from the MI6.....and as "M" says in the end:You have learned your lesson ...we seee bond as we know him now....(he no more cares about his dead loved one who died an hour ago).

THATS when you see a bond....hurt...tricked and tortured and even poisoned...who has learned from his first mission....and turns into a bond we have known so well.....you will see the Bond..

James bond in the last few seconds of the movie.....when Daniel Craig..wth a hard face...hiding nothing behind.....unlike the one when we see him first.....saying that legendary line....THATS the bond.

CAST:

so..we have Daniel Craig who has very successfully....despite being blond and blue-eyed...played bond nicely.Showing compassion to people and at the same time killing the bad guys without blinking once....not bowing down to his tortureres is one of the few things that he does with good effort.

Eva Green with her beautiful face and cunning psyche is a match for bond....immidiate firebacks for bonds' one liners which make more sense is what causes the chemistry between them to sizzle.ALso we know...why after this movie....Bond doesnt get too close to women...

Madds..sumthing..well,he's the villian with no effect whatsoever on the audience and fails to invite shudders....instead he's a desperate criminal..witng to get his hands on the money....he will do anything for it.

Judi Dench.....wow....admiring her performance would be an understatement...her initial dislike towards bond and curiousity put up great scenes involving her and Craig....brilliant....she plays her small role with full performance and also shows this leadership and comes up as a caring boss...towards bond...understanding what he's been through....superb.

PLOT:

James bonds' first mission:He has to stop the man who privately funds terrorist oranisations.And he wins the money by betting on a high stakes game on a poker game in casino royale.Which is the main storyline for the movie.

I like the plot cos its plain and simple but with its own amount of complexities.

Some people found the bond and vesper conectio scenes slow but I think it was to show how much bond lost...it blended well with the movie.

Well,the charachters playing poker all theough the movie would be boring..so we have sudden and unexpected interruptions to keep us hooked...like bond getting poisoned.a confrontaton in the hotel involving another great action sequence....and more..but I wont say much.

The movie starts with a great chase though namibia and in a construction site and I should say here that it would be physically impossiole for brosnan to be so energetic during them...yes bond gets hurt..but gets up and starts running again....

Then theres another one in the airport and on the runway........my favorite..in the movie...it shows that bond has a strong fist and a smart brain to go along with it...totally awesome..

Then there's these fistfights along the stairs....shootouts and car chase and topplings...

not much gadgetry..but im fine with that..

The movie also gives us a world tour of exotic locales like venice and bahamas....alondwith the exotic cars..its pretty nice.

There's a twist in the end which answers some of our questions and is satisfying.

I missed the Bond music which comes only in the end....but as I said....thats the bond we know now..
