Good goody cute channel!. Review on Cartoon Network - TV & Cable Channels

If there be one channel that broadcasts only entertainment then it isCartoon Network. Although it caters to kids I can still spend entire day watching the good goody channel. There has been a lot of criticism of even this channel of late, but controversies apart it has a lot of sweet shows that not only make for good watching but also contain moral lessons here and there. Atleast if you wanna keep urself from getting pissed by Saas-Bahu crap, switch to Cartoon Network.

Here are the few shows I love on Cartoon Network:

The Powerpuff Girls:Sugar, spice and everything nice were the ingredients for making a perfect girl. But Professor Utonium accidently spill chemical X in the mixture and so were born the three Powerpuff Gals.Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup.The show is the cutest coz even the 'bad guys' whom the gals fight are so adorable. The funniest part is the narrator who begins each n every episode with the words 'Townsville Shahar'. Oh simply adorable.........

I watch it everyday at 3.00 pm.

Dextor's Lab: Dextor boy genius is no ordinary boy. This brainy kid has built up a secret laboratory all by himself. But his sister Dee Dee knows about it and is constantly bothering Dexter with her girlie stuff. Another thing about Dexter's lab is the cartoons are shown to exhibit very different emotions in very very different style. A must see show for whizkid Dexter and Dee Dee.

I recommend you catch Dexter everyday at 7.30 pm

Courage the Cowardly Dog: The very title of this show attracted my attention to it. Muriel and Huestus have a pet dog named Courage who's hairs stand to end even if he sees a lame ghost. Courage is indeed a cowardly dog but everytime his beloved Muriel gets herself into trouble (mainly with the ghosts and weird creatures) Courage finds courage and rescues her. I love it when he says, '' Doggies hii kyun wafaadaar hote hain''. Very very hilarious show.

I get time to watch this one at 11.30 pm.

And of course there is Tom n Jerry, Popoeye, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Pokemon, Samurai Jack etc etc to name other shows that make for good entertainment. There's also Power Zone. So basically Cartoon Network has everything thing to offer our kids (and some kiddish adults like me) can ask for. I was surprised when a critic few started to bash the channel black n blue. Maybe it got a few progammes that were bad for children, but it's evolved now a lot. They have started the Desi section as well. So watch out for Ramayan, Akbar and Birbal etc etc.
