A completely different era when women falling in love with each other was considered unthinkable.
The adaptation of the novel'the price of salt' has been brought on screen by the acclaimed director Todd Haynes. The characters of Carol and Therese are impeccably acted by Blanchett and Mara. So gracefully and bravely these two actors explore the complexities of the actors. Story itself is beautiful and the direction is stunning. I was completely drawn to the acting and the direction. the best way in which I can describe this movie is that it is bold and beautiful.
