My review solely based on the sales, documentation experience. I have not made a claim yet and am already wondering if I have made the right choice by selecting Care as my health insurance partner.
I ported the policy on 1st May'24 for my parents. It issued on 3rd in which I found discrepancies. The chronology of events is as below:
1) I clearly mentioned in proposal form the past claim and hospitalization history on the ported policies but the captured response on policy schedule was incorrect.
2) When I analyzed I found that this ambiguity crept in because questions asked in proposal form and mentioned in policy schedule, their wording changed in such a manner that the essence of my answers changed.
3) I immediately informed to the concerned Care Insurance personnel with a request for correction.
Readers please note I am revealing the claim history and want it to correctly captured in policy schedule for which generally insurer chase the customers.
4) I kept following up with relevant people for correction as I did not want to get into any trouble later at the time of claim if need arise.
5) Soon my sales executive, her manager, managers superior stopped picking my calls and went unresponsive on my emails.
6) I raised matter on X (Twitter) also who kept on giving me the assurance that matter is being looked into but it never resolved.
7) I am writing this review on 17th May'24.(good 15 days after raising the first complaint) still no resolution in sight.
8) Based on my sales experience I have become really sceptical of work ethics of Care and my faith in them has seriously dwindled if not completely vanished.
9) Again I have not filed a claim yet, but based on solely my sales experience I would recommend not to opt for Care if there are other choices available. I am in serious dilemma with their reliability.
