NEVER GO THERE FOR SURGERY

Staff Attitude:

I have never seen such a hostile and worst environment for both patients as well as doctors. We had suffered a day in and day out due to their negligence, causing delays making us wait for a pretty long time and finally we walked out of this place for once and good.

We had gone there for oral cancer surgery and they blatantly told us after finishing all tests and consultations(Consultations are an utter waste as they didn't even talk to us for more than 5 min and didn't answer our queries and give a proper diagnosis of the problem and the root cause, It was literally like a checklist. a, b, c tests are to be taken, that's it. They'll talk during consultation. We had paid 500 for each utterly useless consultation). At first, we were frustrated with the doctors and rude+ careless staff but then after a week, we understood the environment created that affects both the patients, staff, and doctors well being as a whole. Doctors were overloaded with a lot of patients and they had to pretty much do lot more cases than they could So obviously they didn't have time and patience and were pretty much frustrated with seeing patients at all. I don't really think anyone would want to go to a place like this for surgery since its a critical one and they keep postponing as to their whims and fancies, PLs PLSSSSSSSSSSSS do not go there for surgery. The main intent of having surgery is to prevent cancer from spreading to other places but here they do not take it seriously at all. It is like as long as the patient is alive they don't bother. Their intent is anyways we can give radiation had it spread to other places after the surgery which is a painful process to go through and has a hell of a lot of side effects. Our whole family is suffering from seeing my father suffering in pain. In the first consultation, they promised us a surgeon's appointment on 6th itself and an operation in the following week itself but then the date got to 10th and finally, the surgery date was fixed on 19th which was already too late and just a few days before they told us No we can't do it on 19th. We'll inform u on 23rd or later(mind it that it was not even fixed or anything just an approximate date to make us shut our mouth for a while. I knew for the hell that they wouldn't call us on that day). We were literally shattered on hearing these words. My father had gone from Stage 1 to Stage 2 already and we regret every single day for going there. I would ask anyone who wishes to go there for surgery(I'm not sure about radiation and chemo as we didn't have any experience on that) to not go there bcoz it's literally no use at all. It's not going to be done on time and if surgery is not done on time it's literally of no use. U can go there at your own risk. Most people go there thinking it's affordable but no. Not at all. It may seem affordable at the beginning but they will tell you to take the tests again and again(I remember a lady who had breast cancer had taken the same tests 3 times for surgery and waited for more than 2 months and still she didn't get her surgery date) and worst of all. You'll go from stage 1 to 2/3 or even 4 by the time they give us a date and do surgery. By the time cancer will spread to other places and we have to give radiotherapy. radiation will cost from 50K(Mind it .its only the minimum range it can be a much more expensive and painful process with a lot of side effects). So in the end the total expenses will match that of a private hospital's surgery. It's just all the more suffering and we can't even be rest assured due to the severity of the disease once it's stage 3/4. Instead, one can go to a good hospital and get the surgery done immediately on diagnosis irrespective of the amount and save yourself and your family from all the misery and live a happy and healthy life.

I'm writing such a lengthy post about my experience here SO THAT NO ONE HAS TO SUFFER LIKE US. I knew that there will be a lot of crowds and stuff, but didn't know that they'd not even have an ounce of humanity unless we are dead or even after that cuz according to them we r just a case .and they have hundreds and thousands of cases. The administration of the cancer institute is pure nonsense. Have a look at their Facebook page to see those comments by aggrieved patients and their loved ones. You'll understand the ground reality of the situation.

It is totally useless and hard to go through this extra suffering Already cancer is deadly enough.

I came across these already existing reviews on this website only after the halfway process so we were helpless and had no choice but still hoping that they would do the surgery on the 19th as promised. but then ooh we were made the fool instead.

Please take an informed decision and NEVER GO THERE.
