Peace?It's not for US ok!?

Pieced together are the pieces on peace which I have managed to stitch after gathering my thoughts and interpreting what I feel about Peace in general and is nowhere related to the war games that our hero Bush(forgive me!) and villain Osama and Co.(forgive me again!) are playing.

Peace is a word, which is relative from person to person in terms of its meaning and how it affects the individual(It feels so complex when you ask your Grey cells to start working on it and expect them to come out with a quick positive answer).

There are people who have their own interpretations of Peace. Some Forced, Some unforced and Some none. All these interpretations clashing with each other and giving rise to some more words War, Prosperity, Growth, Stability etc which again are interpreted as signs of peace by some and some who don't. These words are again subject to relative interpretations(Ex: India loses a cricket match against Pakistan and the result is taken with various degrees of emotions both positive and negative by all of us(those who play, watch, listen, read etc). The feelings would be more on the positive side if you were supporting Pakistan and negative if you were supporting India and no feelings if you belong to the Eskimo tribe!(Prospective question on Probability in your GMAT paper!)

Peace is such a messed up word which, according to me is one of those superficial words like God, truth, religion where it is always emphasized that these words would bring out freedom, harmony, quietness and so on(those sweet sounding brothers of Peace!). All these have been successfully(I doubt!) tested through the journey of man(Ever since he invented these words and assigned them meanings) and till today so many people in this world are not at peace with themselves and, with others. The number is increasing with an inverted pyramid trend which is 1 2 4 8 16 32. and so on(Don't ask me for sources OK!). So many imaginary baseless things are being propagated through these imaginary words which promise you a better life in a manner in which, there is no scope for understanding what the reality is.

Let me give an example, which can have the following possibilities.

Godse Kills Gandhi(If I killed You, it wouldnt interest others.right!?!)

FYI: Nathuram Godse shot Gandhi to death(just in case you have a?)

From Godse's side:

He feels relieved'cos he thinks of Gandhi as the root cause to a lot of problems and so he is at peace with himself and with respect to the society, which he thinks will be peaceful without Gandhi's existence.

What the society thinks:

It thinks that Godse is the cause of terror and has disrupted peace by Killing Gandhi and so it kills him thinking that there will be Peace in the society without his existence.

The Truth:

People who directly were linked to Gandhi(followers and family) will lose Peace of mind for some time(Time=variable) and come back to normal or not. The same can be said of Godse because people who support him also think the same(I did mention that the interpretations clash!)

Godse and Gandhi can be the names of any religion, group, individual and these again are subject to various possibilities when assumed(I still am interested in your Grey cells!).

Am I at peace with myself:

Certainly NO, as I have a lot of things attached to my life which are my friends, my brothers, sisters, parents, relatives, colleagues, my work, the people who are indirectly attached to my life(cable guys, power guys, water guys) and all those living/non living things you can think of. These acquaintances can affect my emotions on a momentary or daily or periodic or etc basis. How I take these attachments and how I let them affect me is all what the Magical word Peace means finally which again is transient(sort of!) and cannot be a perpetual one. Peace in itself is an ideal state and an ideal state very much means a stagnant state, which in-turn means no self-Growth and no understanding.(It means no eternal peace you.)

What I would Do:

a)If I were born in a rich family in a rich country(Developed), there would be a significant difference in my thinking ability and my outlook towards life. All that I have at my disposal is a wealth of experiences(wealth, sex, health, fame, adventure, happiness, joy, sorrow etc). When I experience this i.e., during and at the end of experiencing, I have to find Peace, which again is relative from person to person.

b)If I were born in a poor family in some village in India where there is a limited scope for experiences(no education, religion, poverty, no technology), I have to find Peace which again is relative from person to person as I can complain that the rich man is lucky or I can also feel at peace thinking that wealth is indirectly proportional to the peace of mind which again is not an absolute statement.

If I were born in any of the above cases and I were influenced by some religion which preached(the ones who preach) some comparative and superlative beliefs and made me a fighter for these beliefs, I would end up doing some Terrorism stuff without feeling guilty and still being at peace(It could make me guilty also!)

What I would like to see:

One religion, one God, One country, one Faith and lots of imaginary stuff which you can only dream of.(Sounded like I was answering a beauty Pageant question!).I rarely dream of these things and even if I do dream you wouldn’t want to know.

What you can do to get peace:

1) Don't force religion and God upon anybody mainly your children as it is not the ultimate truth. Give her or him the exposure and just try to give him a broader perspective of life beyond the religion and culture. They will decide for themselves when they are ready for it.( broader perspective <>single option!)

2) Respect Life in all its forms(The tree in the amazon forest, the dead sea, De Beers, Adams, Eves and many!)

3) You do your best and leave the rest to destiny.(Do nothing and hope for the best!)

4) Never believe in things because many believe in them. Allow your reasoning to reason it out and then believe. Try using the words why, where, what and all those question related words.(You can skip this point if it sounds heavy!)

5) You are not a dog and don't litter the world with your children(Strictly for India: Check the population clock!)

6) Have Hygienic Sex and don't tear many people's peaceful(assuming!) lives into pieces!(Was this review about AIDS?)

7)Stop thinking too much about life as it will only confuse you(I know you will not listen!)

8) If you have read the 7th point there is no 8th point as I feel you are starting to black out(5Gs!) and if you have not read then go back and read 7th!

Problem is:

We have reached an irreversible state(that is how it was supposed to be) and whatever we do to correct it, will only slow the eventuality. It is easier to be destructive than to be constructive.

Reality is:

It doesn't matter whether you think right or wrong as there are some things whose influence you cannot ignore and even if you ignore, it is not going to make a significant difference. We are continuing to make life difficult for ourselves and one day, we will be responsible for our own downfall and who knows what will happen.

Finally:

I am worried that you did not get what I intended to say and have lost my PEACE!

Bring my PEACE back with your comments and thanks for bearing!
