Chocolates………. Do I love THEM??? I just can’t resist them. I always get them with the pretext of giving them to my kids and I believe you can guess in which tummy more than half of those lend. My husband is also crazy about chocolate, in fact more than my two boys. He is lucky, as he doesn’t have to watch his waistline. He seems to have been molded into the slim and trim figure for eternity. I wish, it was the case with me as well. I have to always watch my weight. I love Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate. I also love to eat Fruit & Nut, Crackle, Bournville, Temptations, 5 Star, Perk and Perk Strawberry. I usually buy a few of each type every time, and that’s when the trouble starts. My husband always acts as an investigator when it comes to sweet stuff in the house. He always tries to find out down which tract the sweets went. When I open one bar, I just can’t take a bite and kind of say “I’ll eat the rest of it later”. It’s so difficult to resist eating all of it. And lo behold! Another inch added to my waistline. Well not only my waistline, inches are added all over my body. Next when I stand on the weighing scale, the arrow has inched its way more to the right. With the scales always threatening to tip a little more, I can’t even dream of having another bar of another of my favorite brand.
Now the Cadbury Heroes have come to my rescue and that too sort of. Cadbury having launched the combination pack of bite-sized miniatures (Cadbury Heroes) of the favorite chocolate brands has been a blessing in disguise at least for me. Now I can open a miniature and eat all of it without having to worry much about the inches and scales. And I can eat another miniature of another of my favorite fancy. But of course I shouldn’t go on eating another and another, till the whole box is empty. Here’s where self-control plays a definite role.
My boys many a times get to choose one of each and they are thrilled at the opportunity. Of course this is basically for my elder son who is five and half years. The second son who is just two years doesn’t know the difference as long as he gets more than one miniature. Imagine giving them more than one bar each.
I always buy the smaller pack costing Rs. 50 just to avoid temptation (LOL), though the Heroes are available in three packs of Rs. 50, Rs. 100 and Rs. 150. Each pack has in it, bite-sized miniatures of the Cadbury Dairy Milk, Fruit & Nut, Crackle, Bournville, Temptations, 5 Star, Perk and Perk Strawberry.
Before I wind up, I would like to know whey these miniature are named Heroes. Is it because they are like heroes to the weight watchers?
STATUTORY WARNING: Though I have recommended the Heroes, each one should watch their weight whilst they enjoy the Heroes!!!
