As far as Chinese food is concerned, you will come across very few places in Kolkata where the food quality is good and the pricing is also affordable. In that regard, CIT cafe scores high as here the Chinese food is not only delicious but the pricing is also reasonable. Besides, the quantity of food is good and the chowmein dishes can easily be eaten by 1.5 or 2 people pricing around Rs 150-160. It has been one of my memorable Chinese food experiences.
The ambience here is excellent with proper relaxing light and soft instrumental music playing in the background that adds to the value and charm of this Restaurant. Though this place is not that popular among people in Kolkata as the more renowned Chinese outlets are at "China Town" near Tangra region and then there is "Mainland China" but if you are looking for a nice evening with your family, better half or friends within a reasonable budget, then this place is perfect for it.
