I just bought a Lenovo laptop, the Flex 2 -14 inch with Intel Core I5, touch screen, hybrid and all that jazz. I hate changing pieces of technology but had to buy a new laptop as my old one had aged and was very slow and make the running sound all the time . But I was in for a surprize! This laptop is hardly like a new laptop. Hangs every now and then, the keyboard is so hard and some keys are super hard that I keep missing them. And, guess what, with this new technology, it still makes that sound( I thought that was outdated and no new laptop made that sound).
So I called the service guys telling them to fix it and send someone to look into this as this laptop was less than one month old. They said they cannot send anyone and that I will have to first trouble shoot online with them. Ok. In trouble shooting, they ask me to delete temp files, clean recycle bin etc . I lost it there. A less than 1 month old laptop, hardly used and this is the trouble shooting?
I told them I am a tech savvy person and have done all that. They said the way they will have me do it is different(?). Then they said that I should reboot( basically spend an enitre day for really nothing( how can a brand new laptop require a reboot? And if it does, isnt it their responsibility rather than wasting my time. They point blank REFUSED TO SEND ANY TECHNICIAN saying it's NOT their RESPONSIBILITY to send someone.( I guess their responsibility stops t selling a piece of crap, irrespective of whether it works or not.
I hate them!
