When you go to buy an assembled or even a branded one u will not be able to know what all things are present in the CPU, which company are they of, are u geting what u are told.To ease this I have found a wonderful software which is freely downloadable from the net and then take it with u when u go to buy a computer and just run it in the computer u are buying and it will tell everything about your CPU, Monitor, CD-Rom etc.
AIDA32 is a system information, diagnostics and benchmarking program. It extracts details of all components of the PC. It can display information on the screen, print it, or save it to file in various formats like HTML, CSV or XML. Its built-in hardware database contains detailed information about 25000 components. AIDA32 can display information on CPU, motherboard, hard disk, optical drive, motherboard chipset, buses, sensor information, installed programs, event logs list, and much more. Its diagnostics module can reveal possible problems.
AIDA32 also offers command-line switches, network audit and audit statistics, remote system information and network management. Several plugins are available, for example Disk Benchmark, Network Benchmark and Monitor Diagnostics. AIDA32 can check for an updated version of the program over the internet. There's also an AIDA for DOS: AIDA16.
