'Mmm. As a Virus I would love to be in a computer. and hate the Antiviruses and the firewalls'.LORD SAVE US FROM THE WRATH OF THESE.AMEN!
But I rather Pity the viruses coz I destroy them Mercilessly.
Coming back .to you I would like to give some advice regarding buying a PC.
The need.
For High End Users(home/office)
For SERVERS related to LAN and Proxy Networks
For Professionals related to Graphic Designers.
For Administrators related to remote connections and Clients administrations.
For Programmers related to development and Application Environment.
All u need is
PIV 2.X or Higher
DDR RAM 512 or Higher
Intel M/B 915(Sound, NIC, Display etc on board)
ATX Cabinet, K/B, Mouse Speakers.etc
For Superb Performance
Recommended
- Athlon? 64 Processor .Processor is 64 Bit.WW00WW
For Low End Users(Kids, Students, Surfing, Accounting etc)
-P III 733 or P IV 1.8 or above
-256 SD RAM for P III and DDR RAM for P IV
-Intel M/b
-ATX Cabinet, K/b.

There are two Options
-Assembled
20000~ 35000
are cheaper and can be got from Lamington Rd in mumbai(most Famous)
-Branded
Compaq, IBM, HP, DELL.etc
30000~ 50000
Costlier but worth as parts under warranty are replaced. Warranty varies 6 months to 12 months and can be extend too.
for Personal Use I will recommend
Laptops because its easy and portable but repairing a Laptop is WAY costly . get it from IBM they have some nice Ones.
