What all to think before Buying a Computer.

Well People we know there are mainly two types of Buyers, One who want a Power Machine and Money is no problem for them. Other one is the one who wants to strike a balance between the money and the Power.

For the First Kind, Buying a computer is no Big Deal, They can just go for the MOST COSTLY PC and no prize for guessing it would be one of the Best too.

But I am Writing there TIPS for the People who belongs to the Second Category, i.e. Economy+ Power.

So here I Go.

1) PROCESSOR:

If your only purpose for buying a PC is just to check mails or simple  office work or may be some developing in C or C+.Then you can go for celeron or any other processor less than 300 MHz. It hardly makes any difference to buy a faster but COSTLIER Processor.

For other people who are into 2 D Animation or web designing using Flash etc can opt for a processor between 500 MHz to 1 G Hz.

BUT if you are a hardcore GAMER or u use 3-D software’s like 3D Studiomax or MAya.then u have to go for a Processor Over 1 GHz.

# FOR Novice: Processor is the Brain of any Computer. So have to be Very careful while choosing it. OK? Just for your info, when some one tells you that this Processor is 300MHZ, what they mean is that.' it complete an Instruction in 1/300 sec'

2)RAM(Random Access Memory

Another very Important Part of a PC. So people how much RAM you need?

For any user you have to have at least 32 MB of RAM. But If you use more graphic oriented software’s.then go for 64 - 128 MB RAM Depending on your Budget.

But If you really really Wanna invest in The RAM.Go for RD RAM.Which is Very Fast but.Expensive too.

# People Believe that'the More RAM you have, The Faster your Computer' But Let me Clear this thing, it is only true when you Upgrade from 32 MB RAM to 64, after that it hardly makes any difference.#

3) MOTHER BOARD

This is the Mother which is gonna Handle your PROCESSOR and RAM. So don’t compromise on this. Go for the Best in the Market.

Current Best is ASUS for High end user and INTEL Chip Based Board for others.

# You might fall for the Mother board with Intel 810 Chipset, why?  because it has Soundcard and Graphics card Unbolt so it is CHEAPER. But it has LOW performance MIND YOU. #

4) Graphics Card

As I told you, if you just wanna use Internet or use office and some other light stuff, you can go for and PCI or AGP  Card with 1 - 4 MB of VRAM(Video RAM).

For others I'll reckon a AGP Card with 8 - 16 MB of VRAM. BUT for my Games Freaks and 3-D Software users, go for Reva TNT or Ge FOrce -4. It has 64 MB of VRAM for the REAL LIFE experience in your 3- D Games.

#3-D Card is of two types, one supporting Direct 3D and others with 3DFx. Direct 3D are cheaper but slow in performance and other way around for 3DFx-based cards.#

5)Sound Card

Simple if just wanna listen mp3 and listen to your games Sound.and nothing more go for any card. Doesn;t makes a big Difference.BUT if you wanna have a HOME THEATERE or go for SOund Editing and DJing .u have to Go for CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER with its SUB WOOFER SPEAKER.WOW .neigbour's envy  your PRIDE;)
