I had the most horrible experience dealing with BSNL for the three months that I took the connection. I finally got it disconnected after waiting for anyone to help me when my net was not working for 15-20 days.No one came to resolve the issue for 20 days.
The representatives at the customer care centre(Baner centre, Pune) are downright rude and talk to you as if they are the "Kings of the world". They have a typical "Sarkari" attitude and will even go the extent of screaming at the customers as there is no complaints department or procedure that is followed. I have been trying to pay my bill but they refuse to adjust the deposit amount.I am told that a cheque will be sent to the address where I dont stay and they cannot change my address.
My only suggestion - Any self respecting person who commands a bit of service or any respect when dealing with the service Representatives should not even think of BSNL. It STINKS big time.
My boss told me that he had received a bill of around Rs18, 000 for his home connection and he is still struggling to get it adjusted.
