I take lot of tea in different form though I prefer lemon tea. But Never Say No to Tea attitude compels me to take all types of tea throughout the day. … lemon tea, black tea, green tea, normal tea with milk, Gujju Masal Tea, Malai Tea…. what not…… Take 4-5 cups a day during office hours. But after extended office hours I do not take any tea. After office hours mostly on Nimbu Pani.

At home there are two varieties of tea. Most preferred is Organic Green tea with Tulsi and second and only other option is Taj Mahal Tea bag. For me there only two options in tea bags- Tetley or Taj Mahal. Off-late decided to restrict to Taj Mahal only because of taste and I feel there is no addition of artificial colour in it.Taj Mahal Tea is a blend of the tea leaves growing in the Assam. It has dark and rich flavor with red crimson liquor that makes it a strong and especially pungent tea. 25 staple-free bags cost you Rs. 29/-. Marketed by Hindustan Lever limited.

I get up quite early and consume about a liter of tea in the morning and this tea is without milk and sugar. Tea bag of Taj Mahal is very handy for this type of tea… just dip dip, give sometime to cool it a bit and squeeze some lemon in it. Waw what a taste with citrus aroma ……. I take almost 20-30 minutes to complete one mug of tea and in the mean time surf net, reply to Emails etc. So, I take my preferred tea only in the morning before going to office and rest of the day whatever others offer.

At home I use tea mugs of at-least 200 ml capacity. I am very fussy about my tea mug; it must be white and light in weight. Recent addition to my collection of tea mugs is that Cup / Mug from MS.

Whatsoever is the brand, I miss the AROMA from the blends of fresh tea of Assam & Darjeeling. Darjeeling tea has the very rich Aroma and Assam tea is for dark crimson liquor. With milk this blend is the best. I have not tested tea from Nilgiri so cannot comment on that. During our visit at Ooty, I have seen people selling different types of tea blend e.g. chocolate, strawberry, some masala etc. But these blends are not for hardcore tea lovers. In Southeast Asia I have tested Sri Lankan tea but not that impressed. That hot crimson red liquor one get from Assam tea has special taste reserved for tea lovers.

So friends, ho jai ek chai Nimbu marke……

Brooke Bond’s Taj Mahal is also available in loose in paper box in different sizes. Price is not known to me. Quality must be equally good. This one is good for making tea with milk, masala etc.

While writing this review, a thought came …. Is there any side effect of too much of tea? Searched net at usual and to my utter surprise discovered, even green tea has side effects.

May visit this site - https://greenweightlosstea.com/green-tea-side-effects.html

But they also say:- Don’t be alarmed in the slightest by these side effects. The fact is, Oolong tea does vastly more good than harm, and, unless you drink enough to almost drown yourself, you won’t see any negative effects at all.

And, Bhaia ka tapir ka chai se samal ke. This boiled tea with milk one should avoid. Safe recipe for tea with milk-

Boil water. Take tea powder in a strainer and place it on the cup. Pour not too hot water(avoid boiling water) on the tea in strainer. Keep tea powder with strainer dipped in hot for some time to brew. Add HOT milk to get the right colour. Sugar optional.

So friends, Enjoy Your Tea but do not drown yourself in tea.

(It is a lesson for me too)
