My problem is solved on Universe. Review on Brief History of Time, A - Stephen Hawking

Ok, ppl.. back after one month..

This is my first review on any book. I would like to tell you some little things about this book.. and why I got intrested in reading this book.

NOTE: This review is on a second edition of this book, in second edition one more chapter is added i.e. Chapter 10 - WORMHOLES AND TIME TRAVEL.

I am writing review on A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME -By Stepehn Hawking. Well, I dont want to make you bore by telling about who is Stephen Hawking so lets move to the review.. but if you want to know about Stephen Hawking then visit here https://hawking.org.uk/

Why I got Intrested: I like history and I always wanted to know how we people came on earth and how earth is formed, how universe is formed? I was knowing the answers of all those questions except the universe one.. I was searching for his answer.. I asked many people but most of them told they dont no.. I also asked to the scientist but they replied and told me that they cant say... it may be create controversy.. I also asked to member of MouthShut.com pankhuri_chopra she told me there is somthing but she didnt remember its name.. so I again started searching abt that.. after one month my classes started, I asked to my Physics sir, sir told me about some things, my sir told then told me about this book and I started searching this book.. and I got this book.

ok.. lets go in to the book..

About Book: Written by Stephen Hawking in very simple and plain English, its very easy to understand each and everything which is in this book, there are also some very nice pictures which explains and which clears some complextion from the mind. No need to tell u about Book covery, because you can see Book Cover on MouthShut.com only. There are total 12 Chapters in this book, each chapter is having attractive TITLE which doesnt allow you to leave the book. If your planning to read next chapter after some time.. dont read the name of chapter otherwise you will feel that, that the chapter name is intresting and you will think that you will read it now.. you will do other work later.. so dont read the name of chapter if your planning to read next chapter later..

Ok.. here I am goin in to the detail of each chapter.

DETAIL OF CHAPTERs:

CHAPTER 1: Named OUR PICTURE OF THE UNIVERSE. In this chapter Stephen Hawking has talked about in past what people was thinking about universe or how the universe is.. Is the SUN is rotating around the Earth or Earth is rotating around SUN. Also discused about the size of the universe, and lots of other things in this chapter. In this chapter author has opened one little thing about Newton which is true but most of the people dont no about this. We learnt in the school and also in the colleges that the Newton came to about Gravity when apple hits on his head. But this is totally wrong. Newton was explaining to the scientist about the Gravity and at that time he gave the example of Newton and from that day people are telling that Newton came to know about Gravity when Apple hits on his head. ok.. lets move to next chapter..

CHAPTER 2: Named SPACE AND TIME. In this chapter author has talked little bit about the Gravity and also about three laws of Newton. In this chapter author told us about the meter in the terms of time.. Sounds Intresting eh? ya.. by definition, 1 meter is equal to distance traveled by light in 0.000000003335640952 cool.. isn''t it? Also discussed about the Time Machine i.e. Is TIME TRAVEL is possible or not?

CHAPTER 3: Named THE EXAPNDING UNIVERSE. In this chapter author has talked about the SUN, and other planets. About Starts and galaxies and also about the Hubble Telescope and Universe. The nearest star fromt he Earth is called Proxima Centauri, is found to be about four light-years away (the light from it takes about four years to reach earth). or about twentry three million million miles. NOTE: million is two times there.. not only one time.

CHAPTER 4: Named THE UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE. In this chapter author has talked about the rays, lights and waves, like X-Rays, Radio Waves and Visible Lights. I didnt find much intresting thing in this chapter, so moving to next chapter.

CHAPTER 5: Named ELEMENTARY PARTICLES AND THE FORCES OF NATURE. In this chapter author has talked about Universe is made up of which elements or which material. Also some intresting things about electron and alpha particles is covered in this chapter.

CHAPTER 6: Namded BLACK HOLES. One of the most intresting chapter in this book. In this chapter author has talked about Black Hole, what is Black Hole and a lots of things about it. Also talked about how Black Hole is formed but for that you will need to undestand life cycle of Star which is also included in this chapter.

CHAPTER 7: Named BLACK HOLES AIN''T SO BLACK. Again one more chapter on BLACK HOLE but its intresting. In this chapter author has again covered rays, like gamma rays and X-Rays. This chapter is like a continue of the previous chapter.

CHAPTER 8: Namded THE ORIGIN AND FATE OF THE UNIVERSE. I was waiting for this chapter. because this chapter is solving my probleme. In this chapter author has talked about how UNIVERSE is formed. I dont want to discuss about this more.. if you want to know more.. read this book.

CHAPTER 9: Named THE ARROW OF TIME. In this chapter author has covered the direction of TIME. Also there is one question which was starnger to me.. whem I read it.. Why do we remember the past but not the future? This is also a one of the most intresting chapter from this book.

CHAPTER 10: Named WORMHOLES AND TIME TRAVEL. In this chapter author has talked about the TIME TRAVEL. This is also the most intresting chapter in this book. If you want to undesrstand this chapter properly you should understand the previous chapters specially chapter 4, 5 and 8.

CHAPTER 11: Named THE UNIFICATION OF PHYSICS. In this chapter author has talked about chemistry, particles and something like that only.. which makes me boring but then also this chapter is nice and you must understand this chapter if you want to know about the universe. If you want to understand this chapter you must understand the 1st Chapter.

CHAPTER 12: Named CONCLUSION. In this chapter author has just taken summary from the previous chapters and explained it in short cut.

My CONCLUSION: This book is really very excellent book. If you want to know about Universe or about the Earth then you must read this book. This book also covers the information on the TIME TRAVELING.
