Hi folks:
I happened to read an old review on the game by Suresh(JACOB2002) and wanted to add to what he has written.
How to learn the game? There is no need to read a book to know the game. There are excellent free software available to learn the game, the most notable one being Learn to Play Bridge Part 1 and Part 2 by Fred Gitelman, a World class player and Canadian International. You can download it from here.

The software is brilliantly conceived and has a real interactive feel and is non-threatening, so both computer novices and bridge novices can easily learn to use it and learn the game. A lovely bridge site that is both humourous and insightful for the beginner and connoisseur alike is by Richard Pavlicek, a great American Champion player. Check out the sections for beginners, there is an easy and funny introduction.
