Is it true that our society is degenerating? Looks like Film producers are bent upon making public believe that.
Make movies with No story, Glorify violence of women (in a land where women are considered next to God - Most of our deities are female). They are capable of so much love and this movie is trivialising every thing of our values.
Movies like this should have been sponsored by sources outside India :-)
Scenes like hero rubbing heroines back in a public place, Running nude in mount road, crap crap all crap. The songs now in films are nothing but some incomprehensible words mixed in noise. Do I belong to a country which has (and has been) producing greatest musicians like Asha, Lata, Kishore, MSSubalakshmi, MLVasanthakumari, DKP, Yesudas, SPB.... We dont value the greatness of our culture.
I agreed to see this crap because my friends told me Shankar, Rahman and Sujatha (Scripts) have joined hands to give this. I was disappointed like never been.
Seeing Sujatha stoop to levels (Court scene vaidha - vai-dha) to introduce lewdness... Enough Said.
I just want to say my MS brethren who are not from India. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE and get a wrong opinion of our tradition. We are not that bad as portrayed (May be I should add 'YET').
Youngsters are indeed responsible and they indeed respect the traditions of family. There are youngsters who deliver Newspaper, Collect Pidi-arisi (The scheme of saving a handful of rice everyday for charity), Listen to good music, Bring up a family amidst all problems and respect our womenfolk.
If this movie is portraying the practical mood of the youngsters, Shankar is not doing a service to the society by taking pictures like this.
In our country, If a man in a family is losing direction (in values), the family may sway from side to side. But if the women is losing direction, the family will self destruct - period.
