Story:

Now this is the time write about a great book, which as helped in all the endeavors of life. This review is also special one in the way that this is my 50th review. I have felt cool in all the ways and have made friends and to say MS’s become a part of my life.

Now saying about this book, I am have read so many Marketing books, which I used to read and true that it has not

much impact in my life.

BOTTOM-UP Marketing is such a book, which makes you think and do after you read each page and chapter.

This unlike the other Laws of Marketing, Bottom Up Marketing is not merely a re-hash of ''Focus'' and ''Positioning''.

This book throughout says about STRATEGY and TACTICS. Its focus is on the distinction between strategy and tactics in marketing.

This book says about the strategy, which is perfect, and flawlessly – to those who made it and the tactics which falls into place to make a big success. This, contend the authors, is how many a marketing campaign is carried out, often without the smashing success expected.

This book the idea of bottom-up could be stated as a redefinition of tactic (as the key competing concept) and strategy (as the modeling of the organization to be able to run and follow the tactic). If so, the flow is down up

The knowledge about the marketplace and opportunities presented within must come directly from the source, those on the front lines in touch with consumers. Strategy and resource allocation comes from the top.

It's a good book with a clear simple message, combined with a dash of Author’s humor.

Bottom-Up Marketing is just that, developing a marketing strategy from the bottom up. A successful strategy can be crafted only after the needs, wants, and minds of the consumers are understood. Once the opportunity is identified, tactics are developed to satisfy the need, focus and refine the actions of the company. Once a realistic picture emerges, a strategy can be created such that the entire organization can take the correct actions and take advantage of opportunities that actually exist.

Myself being a Marketing person was so much indulged in book, I try to seek the knowledge from the market and work out the right tactic and then the unexpected may happen (strategy).

Once you have optimized your mind to height, there is no looking back. You can achieve the impossible by simple mathematics. Most companies Top Management makes strategy without knowing the market and the requirement there. This book is full of simple examples, which gives you knowledge and ways to attain great heights. This book will be one of the best books I have read and recommend you to read at least once in your life.

This comes from the stables of Al Ries and Jack Trout , who’s books are quiet famous and knowledgeable.

Wish you al l a happy reading.
