Review on Bosch Dishwasher:
Due to various reasons such as convenience, reliability, availability, long term economy, quality of cleaning and various other such features, we decided to buy a dishwasher for washing kitchen utensils and dishes. This decision was taken after a lot of deliberation, research, and also bit of hesitation for almost a year! Finally one fine morning, the resolve became very strong in my mind, and I made the bold move of placing the order for Bosch Free-Standing 12 Place Settings Dishwasher(SMS60L12IN, White) on Amazon.in. It arrived promptly within a couple of days or so, in a good packaging and in good condition. I went through its ‘manual’ for that whole afternoon.
For its installation, it obviously needed a new water tap point and water outlet point, and an extra 15 Amperes electric socket nearby, all of which were not available in my kitchen. The next day I installed a 15 Amp electric socket myself as I had all the necessary tools like drilling machine and all. I called a plumber for installing a new water faucet point for the inlet and also the outlet point, and the relevant piping work.
So the dishwasher installation process was complete and it was up and running. My joy knew no bounds. I was waiting for this moment since 4-5 days - ever since I had placed the order. Since then I have been using this dishwasher almost daily, and I have been amazed by the results I have got.
The quality of cleaning is awesome and definitely better than manual effort. The cost of machine was Rs.29, 000/-. Considering that the machine may last atleast 7-10 years, it is surely economical one time capital expensiture. The running cost of the machine is also quite reasonable say Rs.5-10 of electricity per day, and approximately the same amount for the detergent/rinse aid/salt combined. So monthly running cost of the machine comes to around Rs.500-700 depending upon your use. The cost of machine itself(29k) when spread over a period of 7-10 years comes to just Rs.300 per month. So the total cost of the the machine(capex+ opex) is not more than employing a maid servant.
This dishwasher can accommodate lots of dishes and utensils in one load. Also it cleans all indian utensils very well such as kadhai, big patelas, tawas, cookers, frying pans etc. No exceptions! So a dishwasher can actually and practically substitute a maid very well without incurring any extra cost, and at the same time giving you the convenience of washing utensils at anytime of the day or night, with good quality! It can even dry the utensils.
I use Fortune dishwasher detergent powder, rinse aid and salt, which I mostly order online since these are not easily available in any shop or mall(atleast I couldn’t find anywhere even after extensive enquiries).
I would highly recommend Bosch dishwashers, especially for Indian families since Bosch technology is very suitable for all kinds of Indian utentils. I am an extremely happy and satisfied customer of Bosch dishwasher! Just go for it!
