My experience with Bonito has been a total rip-off and unwanted stress, thanks to their LIES and FALSE promises of a REFUND.
On March 26th, 2023, I paid 27k towards their initial consultation pitch, and the same day, on 2nd thoughts, I opted to WITHDRAW MY APPLICATION/ CANCEL the process. As per the process requirement, I emailed them, the completed withdrawal application form. As per their process, the refund is due to me within 21 days, this is clearly mentioned in the agreement / sign-up document and also PROMISED to me by their Sales executive Mr.Edwin Rahul.
The first issue here is when there were NO/ ZERO SERVICES RENDERED TO ME by Bonito, why should they take 21 days to REFUND ME? We did not even reach any planning or presentation or project stage! and yet I tried to be patient and as long as I get my refund within 21 days timeline, I was ok.
It's been 23 DAYS now and no sign of any refund except FALSE PROMISES and delay tactics.
BONITO DESIGNS is just doing DAYLIGHT ROBBERY of an honest customer and am I supposed to just "wait forever" for my REFUND? Don't agreement documents have any value? How come they have the guts to CHEAT customers openly? NO RESPONSES / DELAYED REPLIES TO MY CHASE OF GETTING MY REFUND. EVERY REPLY IS "YOU WILL GET YOUR REFUND MADAM" BUT WHEN? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE!
WHY ON EARTH WILL A COMPANY RETAIN MONEY FOR NO SERVICES RENDERED?
OF COURSE, I AM NOT LETTING THEM GO and pursuing my case through the "disputed transaction" route as the payment was done by me through my credit card. A Merchant CANNOT take my money for NO SERVICES rendered and I have documented communication to support my case with my Bank for a refund.
I am writing this review to WARN other prospective customers to STAY AWAY from this FRAUDULENT COMPANY. If they are not honest and prompt with refunding my 27k I can't imagine HOW ANYONE COULD TRUST THEM WITH their home renovation projects worth lakhs!
It's better TO NOT go to such companies but choose your designs directly from other sources on Youtube or Pinterest etc!, once you do that you can find a carpenter through a friends network or anyone who has a good experience with local carpenters and get your home done and money saved! These companies are anyways just outsourcing the work and from what I have read in other reviews in Mouthshut it's a shoddy job and wasted money!
Sure it will take a bit more time and focus for you to bring it all together but at least you can be sure of the quality of work and no hidden charges or scams!
