Hello Foodies.....
My frist review on hotels... Refering to Bombay Blue's situated at Kalaghoda, South Bombay. They share the place with Copper chimney. Copper Chimney is on the Ground floor & Bombay Blue's on the first.
How to reach there :
With reference to V.T. Station (C.S.T.) go straight in the direction of Regal Cinema catching the D.N. Road. Slowdown down once you reach Flora Fountain. Go ahead straight of about 500 mts and then take a left turn towards Ryhtym House. From Rythym House its just 1 minute walk situated on the left.
The reason I am mentioning this as if you are a first timer it will surely take you about half an hour or so to locate the place.
Parking Space :
Depends at what time you turn up. Any which ways, pay & park space available on both sides of the road. In fact, I would say sufficient parking space.
Management :
Its seems they are the same people managing Creme Centre. But food out here is definately better than the latter.
Ambience :
Wonderful place to be in, with a perfect ambience if you intend to enjoy an evening with a group of friends. [Provided you are seated in a place that gives you a perfect view of the entire place being seated at just one place, including the Icream Parlour & Copper Chimney on the ground floor.]
The stewards uniform gives you the feel of being in GOA by the beach. Brightly lit up place with a huge plasma which usually has a movie or match or F1 being shown. Music seems to be a bit dull , maybe it didn't suit my preference. Might suit yours.
Service :
Fantabulous service prompt service. The steward infact helped us choose a dish as per our taste's & his suggestion was worth taking. He even had certain recepies modified for us.
Food :
The main thing to be here..... Awesome food..!!! Cheap & filling. When I say cheap, it means cheap as compared to other restaurants of the same grade. Sizzlers that you get for anywhere around 250 INR to 310 INR at Kobes can be enjoyed for just 190 INR. And if you have the taste for food you will surely prefer Bombay Bluessizzlers after you have tasted them. Pizza's were ok, you could say moneys worth.
Well the quantity was so much that, this was all we could manage to eat. And not to mention a few icreams from the Ice Cream Parlour. They do have a variety but its expensive & not as good as Naturals at Bandra next to Moccha's.
Occasion to be there :
Nice place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, promotion, to impress a client, girlfiend or just to hang out with friends.
Now its you turn to check out this place.... Let me know if you try out something that you feel I need to try it as well... You could treat me some day... Shall be waiting for your invitation...
Till then.... Adios...
