This review is about the birla sunlife policy.i used to get 2 call every day from birla sunlife insurance, and the worst part is that they call during my working hrs even after telling them to call me during my lunch time or after 6pm.
I always used to say the tele marketing executive that I am not interested in any insurance policy then one of the executive told me if I am interested in any investment plan said ok what kind of investment, the tele marketing executive started explaining it to me, I told the executive if she can send me the detail to my add it will be better to understand, so that I can ask if I have any Query, she took my mail id and didn’t mail me.
Then the very next day again the tele marketing executive called during my working hrs and told me that she wil send a sale executive to explain me the plan, I told her to please ask ur exct to call me between 1-2 so that we can fix the appointment.
I got the call from tele marketing executive at around 4 pm and he ask me to keep all the document ready(i was thinking that he come and explain me the plan and then I will decide, as the tele mrkt executive tld me the same) and said I am in bandra and will come and collect the documents by 6:30 pm. again the sale executive called and told me that he will be coming by 5:30 to collect the document.
I told him that I cant leave before 6 from my office than he told me fine I wil come by to your office and collect the document, I told him that I dont carry my document in hand every where, he told me fine will come and collected by 6:15, I said ok, I rushed home early so that I can meet him. when I reached home I try to call the executvie to find where is he the executive phone was not reachable for 30mins, I waited for him for an hr I didnt receive any call from him and he didnot come, I was pissed off I rushed home early for him and he didnt turn back.
next morning again I received the call from the telemarketing girl she ask if the executive come to explain the detail, I told he didnt came and he told me to keep the document ready for which plan. she told me fine wil send the executive today by 7, I told her ok. again I got the call at 4 pm he told me to meet by 7, in the evening I reached home by 6:45 and called the executive when can he reach to me as I had a plan to go out for a movie with my relative he picked up the call and told me he is in andheri and will reach in 30mins, I told him that to come before 8pm.
I waited for him til 8 and then left for the movie, at around 8:50 I got the call from the executive that he reached my house and waiting for me, I told him that I waited for you for 1 hr and then left, he said ok and left. after 5 mins I received a call from the senior executive from Birla and told me that you have given and appointment and my executive is waiting for you at your place(as he is my boss or doing any favor for me).
i told him listen I asked your executive to meet me at 7 and waited for him till 8pm and you are asking me as you are my boss, he told me fine he will collect the document next day I told me ask your executive to give me proper time. thn after that I didn’t received any call from them for a week, after that again I received the call from some other executive he fix the appointment and come 25 mins late, he explain the plan in detail, I like the plan and ask him to give me his visiting card as I was sure that this guy must be from some Agency working for birla.
He told me that he is not carring the card and told me that you can take my phone number. and gived him all the necessary document and the cheque. and when I asked him when will I received my document he told me that in 15 working days and he left. after 2 day I received the sms from for my policy NO and my money was dedicated from my account, till 20 day I waiting for my document and called at customer care for on the first day the executive told me that your document in dispatch and will get in 7 working day, I asked the reason for the delay, he told me the document is dispatch on time from our side it is due to courier service problem.
i waited for 7 working day and again called the customer care they told me to hold so that they can check my status, the executive made me hold for more then 8 mins and did not turn back, I disconnect the line and try to contact again but this time the line were buzy. next day again I called the customer care same thing happened the executive asked me to wait and didnot come for more then 6 to 7 mins. then I find out the nearest branch and reached there and explain the issue I am facing for more then 1 1/2 months that told me that they my document is dispatch due to courier service you are facing this problem.
I asked them why do you people dont get in touch with good courier service. there I request to close my policy, he told me dont close, it a good plan, I told her what the use of good plan when I cant get good service he told me that is because of courier service. and I requested for cancelling my policy, executive told me that it will be cancelled in 10 working day, and now it is more then 15 days still it is not cancelled, when I try to find out the reasons why it not yet cancelled that say it will take some more time.Request to all please dont go for birla, LIC is the best.
