Biotique Apricot body Wash - Bad medicinal smell. Review on Biotique Apricot Refreshing Body Wash

I reviewed this product on Amazon after buying it from both Flipkart and Amazon and I did not like it because I did not find it refreshing and it smelt like medicine. Flipkart did not remove my review but Amazon removed it 20 days after publishing it. I think Biotique has some kind of influence in Amazon and that is the reason they removed my negative review 5 times after giving silly reasons like seller is not selling it anymore or product is not getting sold anymore when the truth is neither cloudtail seller is going anywhere nor this body wash and other 900+ reviews too are still there. My review was displayed in top 5 so Biotique had to do something and they did it by getting my review removed. At least it will stay here on mouthshut forever.

After getting disappointed with Amazon for the first time in 5 years, I am posting my review here so that people know that things are not all ok on these online shopping sites. Otherwise Amazon has never failed me and I think Amazon is currently the best online shopping site in India. But now it is changing and they keep removing genuine negative reviews even after moderators have published those. Companies like Biotique, WOW and perhaps others get negative reviews removed. So far they have removed 2 of mine.

Update 20th July, 2019 - Amazon does remove reviews even after moderators have published those. I searched for this Biotique Apricot body wash on Google and it had rating of 4.4 with 1000 reviews. I clicked the link and there were only 991 reviews. So review count had decreased and I believe those were all negative reviews. I have attached a screenshot of Google search and Amazon product review count, both taken at almost same time.

After reading so many good reviews of this body wash everywhere, i thought of giving it a try. First time I ordered it from some other website but did not like it. So I gave it to someone else when no one in my family wanted to use it. But even that person did not like it.

Thinking that I might have received a fake product I bought it from Amazon but the product is same. It is pretty ordinary body wash with smell of medicine. I did not find it refreshing at all. Its bottle too is not attractive.

At most this deserves 3 stars because of low price and because it might be chemical free. I said 'might' because Biotique does not print full ingredients of their products, so you never know.

I also tried Divine India shower gel which is also ayurvedic and slightly better than this one but that too is not my favorite.

I have bought close to 50 body washes of different brands and tried around 30 my self. So I know a little about body washes.

Better buy WOW or St D'vence or similar body washes for slightly higher price which too are chemical free and you get more quantity.

As I did not like it and have to give away second bottle as well I cannot give it more than 1 star.
