The review pinpoints the big bazaar located in Shoppers Orbit Mall at Vishrantwadi - Dhanori- Alandi road. When I visited the store on 23 May, I was deeply shocked and fed up with the gloomy ambiance and indecent behaviour of the employees in the store.

Let me outset by stating the disorderliness that has become the symbolism of this store. Irrespective of the aisle chosen, one will find some sort of obstruction in the way most of the time. This is in the form of left out trolleys filled with merchandises ready to be placed on the shelf. The bone of contention here is that no staff member bothers to clear them, causing a lot of inconvenience to the visiting prospects. Not to mention, these trolleys obstruct access to the critical shelves, blatantly indicating that the staff is impeding the customers from buying the goods. Adding to this carelessness, there are a lot of wares being placed in positions where a roaming customer may get injured. For example, there was a big steel hamper full of toiletries that was placed obtrusively in front of a small egg section. An innocent customer unaware of such placements would get wounded by this shoddiness.Does the store has no respect for an individual's safety?

Besides the ever lurking danger of injury, the staff, as many mouth shut reviewers have mentioned, are totally arrogant and uncooperative. One of the customers beside me wanted to buy a sieve; however, there was no price tag on it.

So, when she went to the staff to enquire about it, they kept her waiting for a while. After twenty minutes, a female employee showed up and disinterestedly stated that she was unsure about its price. Well, this demonstrate the incompetence of the staff members. What is more, I saw a brazen employee, wearing dirty shoes, crazily jumping on each 10 kg branded flour pack to flatten it in order to fit it in at the point of sale. It was a really disgusting scene which made me sick to the stomach. The more horrendous fact was that this employee was jumping on the flour packs in front of his colleagues and they were just ignoring the happenings as if it had been a routine to them.

After witnessing the horrible scene, I decided to leave the place. While I was passing through the vegetable and fruit section towards the check out counter, there was a strong odious smell coming from the rotting eatables. Already feeling a bit dizzy, I decided to altogether skip this section. Moreover, I saw that there was no attendant to weigh the items on the electronic machine, making me comprehend that this was the most disliked and isolated section of the shop.

In addition to this murky circumstances, pesky credit card sellers inside the shop made my shopping experience hell. Initially, a salesgirl approached me to sell a credit card. I categorically stated her that I was uninterested in her offer. After a few minutes, another guy came on to me to promote the same scheme. It was really arduous and uncomfortable to keep warding off such nagging and obtuse agents let alone disallow them to disturb my privacy.

The checkout was a loathsome experience too. Only one counter of the six was operational in spite of the long queue. On my turn, the cashier was not cooperating in breaking my 50-rupee note despite the fact that I purchased drinks worth 37 rupees. I nonchalantly ended up buying a beverage to make up for the difference let alone wasting my time standing in the queue twice. All this occurrence caused me a lot of frustration and discomfort. In addition to the flustering, I discerned something vexing at the adjacent check out counter. The helper was placing products of a buyer in a bag very irresponsibly despite the fact that a few of the commodities were delicate and breakable. Even a dumb person understands that sensitive products ought to be handled with care and placed last into the bag.

Overall, the visit to the store was a very agitating, risky, repulsive, uninteresting, tiresome and discomfiting endeavour. I am better off looking into other stores rather than falling for a name like big bazaar.
