Note: Before you start reading this, understand clearly that the main focus of this would be on the use of the service from a web designer's point of view!
Recently, I have read a lot of reviews on Baazee and BidOrBuy. Many have tried to compare the two and that is exactly what this review will do!
Homepages
When I visit baazee.com, I see a site which is basically trying to tell the visitor ''you are a fool''! Why? Because right on the homepage, they say ''Going at 1 paisa''. This statement reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: ''If its too good to be true, it probably is''. This is purely a western way of marketting that the CEO of Baazee and other foreign employees have brought along with them from the US.
In comparision to Baazee, bidorbuy is completely the other way around from my point of view. The site is very clean. You dont see bunch of false attractions that baazee has but simply see some of the listed products for which the bids will be closing soon. This is a really good thing because usually when people visit an auction site they dont like waiting for 5 days and then finding out that they have not won the bid. Here you can quickly see some of he closing soon products and enter your bid and find out within an hour whether you have won or not. Also, the color scheme of the site is very good as it gives me the calm feeling while baazee's 5 color scheme further hurts my brain.

Trust
Trust is something that an auction site must have in order to be successful. Baazee.com has none! Why? Because until have I really have not met any person who has said ''yes I won a bid and received it successfully from baazee'' while for bidorbuy its right on the site to see the recent contest winners. I recommend to Baazee to have a section liek bidorbuy where they show the recent auction winners. This will help them regain some trust.

Recommendations:
Well, all I can ask Baazee is to get serious if they want we the consumers to so any interest in them. We have clearly stated that these cheapo marketting styles will not work against the educated consumers of this country. As for bidorbuy, I can only ask them to continue this service and make only neccessary changes(if any) to their site. It is probably one of the most well designed sites I have seen!
