Guys, nowadays when there is a huge competition of all online websites to provide FASTEST services to the consumer there exist a pathetic website which proves that it cannot provide fast service to the consumer.
It is Bharat Gas website.

When it comes to Bharat gas Cylinder and its use I don’t have any complaints regarding it. But when it comes to booking of cylinder and it is most brain scratching task. As I am a software engineer and when I browse the website I just feel to laugh who has developed this site and what type of testing and security measures they have followed.
Logging part of this site is the worst thing. Once you log in and suppose if you are ideal for few minutes the site session gets expire and then if you again try to log in then I don’t understand what happens. It asks us to log in several times.

Major funny part is here online booking of the cylinder. If you see in the attached screenshot I have previously booked cylinder online for more then 4 times and each time when the transaction is being completed I have been redirected to an Error page. Not a single time it has taken me to a success page or any SMS I get. I don’t understand what is the purpose of mentioning on site that Quick Book & Pay.
If payment is going to fail and suppose in rare case it gets the success than booking will get delay then what’s the purpose of launching a website and Android app. Just for earning extra money and not providing needed service to consumers.
Here what is a standard process I will tell you? Suppose if you book cylinder on Monday and pay the amount. First thing what will happen is – after successful transaction consumer will get redirected to an error page. Suppose the user is new to the site then he has to call customer care and keep track what happened.
Then it takes more than 36 hours to get update the status of booking and though booking gets updated to status success and consumer needs to contact the gas agency for confirmation and it will take at least 1 one day. So you will not get cylinder on Tuesday, you will get on Wednesday or Thursday that too if you are lucky
Then tell me what is the purpose of the website if such delay is going to happen. It’s better to call the gas agency or toll-free number to book. I have faced this issue lots of time but due to the office and other works I have, I have to be dependent on online booking and face this issue always. Last day too, I have booked the cylinder and paid the amount online but still, its status is pending and 30 hours have been passed and I have no status that I will get cylinder today. I need to call the gas agency or the person who delivers cylinder many times to confirm whether today I will get or not.
So guys if you are a consumer of Bharat gas and wish to go for booking online then please beware of their third class process. You will need to wait after for your payment success to track the status and keep ringing the authorized person to know the delivery date.
