I am an existing customer of Bharat Gas. I bought Bharat gas connection on 08-November-2016 from Ravi Gas Service(Invoice is attached). And I bought a spare cylinder on 24-December-2016(Invoice is attached).
At the time of Connection buying, they charged me as below:
1) Rs.1450: Security Deposit for cylinder. Company will return the deposit, when we terminate the connection and return the cylinder back to them.
2) Rs.150: Security deposit for Pressure Regulator. Company will return the deposit, when we terminate the connection and return the cylinder back.
3) Rs.2400: For Gas stove. It is optional for you, if you want to buy Gas stove from them or not. If you don't buy from them, no need to pay this Rs.2400.
4) Rs. 536: Price of 14.2 KG of gas as on 08-November-2016. Gas price vary with time.
5) Rs.170: For Hose Pipe. It is optional to buy Hose pipe from them. If you don't buy from them no need to pay Rs.170.
6) Rs.100: Installation Charges. However, delivery person did not offer any installation service. I installed myself with the help of you tube.
7) Rs.50: For Domestic Gas connection Card(DGCC). But delivery boy never fills the DGGC.
At the time of second cylinder buying, they charged me as below:
1) Rs.1450: Security deposit for the 2nd cylinder. Refundable at the time of return.
2) Rs.590.50: Price of 14.2 KG of gas as on 24-December-2016.
3) Rs.75: Administrative Charges. At the time of connection they did not take any administrative charges. No idea, for what is this Administrative charges.
When my first cylinder ran out of gas and I connected the second cylinder, gas leakage started. Firstly I thought, that regulator had become defective with time. So I borrowed my Land lord's Regulator, but gas was still leaking. So I called Ravi gas service. They gave me delivery boy's mobile no. and told me to call him. In the morning 9AM, I called him. He told me that he would come at 10AM. So I told in my office that I will reach office accordingly. But he did not reach at 10AM. I called him again, he told that he would come at 11AM. But he did not reach even at 11AM. I called him again and he told that he would come at 12 AM. Finally I left for my office after calling him at 11AM. He did not even came at 11AM. After that my wife called him again and again, and he replied the same that he was coming in next 1 hour. Finally he reached around 2 PM. My wife was very hungry, but could not have Lunch till 2 PM. After checking he told that leakage was due to defective cylinder seal and replaced the same. After that there was no Gas leakage. My wife was able to have lunch after 2.30PM. Pathetic service.
