If you have read my earlier review on Shubh Mangal Savadhan or have seen it, you would find this serial almost similar to it. Bhagwan Bachaye Inko is also a product of Playtime Creations, and is produced by Paresh Rawal.
The Story
The story of Bhagwan Bachaye Inko is a bit different from Shubh Mangal Savadhan. In this case, the three friends (Sid, Gopi, C.K.) try to find a way to go to USA and settle there. They had been duped by travel agents who took away their money, and so the three decided to stay together and find a way to fulfil their dreams.
There are other characters too in the story. Kuku, who runs a dhaba, has a crush on Sid, who claims to be Bhopal's prince. Nivi plays sister to Sid. Hritu, is a friend of Nivi. There are other characters too, like Malik Saab and his wife, Pooja (Sawli Saloni) who plays a radio jockey and with whom Gopi (Raja Mastana) is in love with.
The Cast
The cast consists of almost the same people who were a part of Shubh Mangal Savadhan.
Sumeet Raghavan plays the role of Prince Siddharth (Hum Kumar) very convincingly, whereas Dilip Joshi plays the role of Gopi with the perfect poise and elan. Amit Mistry gels well with the role of C.K.
Sucheta Khanna plays the role of Kuku and looks sexy and ravishing as ever. Nivedita Bhattacharya plays the role of Sid's sister, Nivi, with equal ease. Hritu plays herself as Nivi's friend. Vikram Gokhale plays the role of Mr. Malik, but he has quite less amount of role.
I do miss Dinyar Contractor, who was there in Shubh Mangal Savadhan.
Overall
Overall the serial is simply, too good. The comic timings of each and every actor is worth mentioning. The script is wonderful and the serial is a huge entertainer for the whole family. The serial is aired on Sahara Manoranjan on Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm.
PS: Just got to know that the BBI crew is going to Mauritius for a shooting around 22 episodes there!!!
