Annual holidays are always so fun & exciting and most importantly a must have's from the mundane and stressful lives that we lead all year round. Annual holiday for a week or 10days away from home is always welcome and to top it all if its in a place where there is no cellular network, no lappies, no emails; its sheer bliss. One such trip was when we planned our annual trip to Malaysia Nov 2011. The trip was literally planned with 15days before our departure. Wow. It was a real fun planning the entire trip. I would like to thank one of my acquaintances to suggest me such a wonderful resort "Bejaya Resort Langkawi".
The resort was truly a dream come true straight out of some movie. Spread kilometers together and surrounded by the sea on one side and the lush green mountain giving the feel of a forest on the other, the resort was the epitome of tranquility. The facilities included all that is expected out of a luxury resort ie a sparkling clear blue pool, an aromatic & relaxing spa and a spread of 8 different types of cuisines with 5 restaurants and 4 bars/cafes. There is a 24hr shuttle service from the lobby to the rooms/spa(due to the distance) and the shuttle service between the resort to the town or night market.
The staff is very courteous and helpful with a smile on their faces always be it day or night and the rooms were spacious and clean and sweet smelling. Our stay was all the more enjoyable given the fact that the room we were staying at was sea facing. The serene murmur of the water is like a lullaby serenading you to the dreamland with your loved one.
I would definitely like to visit this resort again and would recommend to all my friends.
