Didn't expect it from you Aditya Chopra...Bakwaas!. Review on Befikre

The main and foremost thing which is required to declare a movie good is its plot and story. And here Aditya Chopra did a mess. Frankly speaking, I didn’t expect it from Aditya Chopra. He is a good director and he has given the industry some gem of films. But not this time. This is the worst movie I have ever seen. From the very beginning the end is predictable. The climax is predictable. The story is very common. It has similarities with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which is also released this year some months ago. There is nothing new in the plot.

Coming to the film, here in this film we can see that a boy named Dharam went to France to earn money. He is a stand-up comedian and he wanted to do comedy in his friend’s Bar. He is a fun loving boy and love to make affairs and physical relationships with girls. He has some ethics in life. As he has been dumped by many girls, now he don’t trust girls and is not interested in serious relationship. All he wants is fun and sexual intimation from girls. He believes that if a boy and a girl start feeling special for each other then all fun and enjoyment end. And coincidently he meets a girl named Shyra who also thinks same as Dharam. Her ethics were all same as Dharam. So, they became good friends and do whatever they wanted to do like fun, sex and etc. and as a result they started feeling for each other. Here comes the most important thing, Ego which generally has the reputation of creating problems in almost every relationships. So, now neither Dharam nor Shyra have the guts to accept it. In the meantime Shyra and Dharam both find another partner. And in jealous, they decided to get settled with their respective partners. But actually they wanted themselves but can’t express it. And thus many problems arise. There were fighting, misunderstandings and etc. and at last in the climax as expected they realized their mistakes and decided to remain together forever.

The sound tracks of the movie is good but not that awesome. The songs named “Nashe se chad gayi” and “Ude Dil Befikre” are pretty popular and nice to some extent. The dance which they have done over an instrumental music in their wedding ceremony was fabulous.

The cinematography has been average throughout the whole film, though the editing was satisfactory.

Coming to the cast performance, Ranveer Singh is a fabulous actor and he stands out of the expectations from the very beginning of the film. He has done a good job in the film. And the debutant Vaani Kapoor was also good in her role, though not very tested. Have to see in next projects. And other actors are have done a satisfactory job.

So, I can give the film maximum 2 stars as I always judge a film by its story and plot.
