The website is well designed and user friendly, but it looks like it is only designed to steal customer information. When I applied for the card, it showed the guaranteed approval time of less than one day, but there was no communication from the bank or bankbazaar even after 2 months from the date of application.
Their employees, who were earlier calling several times a day, suddenly stopped calling me. Even the'call me' option given on the website stopped working. The phone number given on the website connects to sales teams(for getting new targets), and my mails send to bankbazaar.com were never answered. I decided to call after 1-2 more days, and told the person that I will inform the bank that I do not need the card. On this, she replied that bankbazaar has already applied with the bank, and asked me to wait for 1-2 more days.
This type of lousy and unprofessional application and follow-up by the person or third party service(bankbazaar.com in this case) can have a serious impact on the chances of getting the loan / card from the same bank, plus if the application is turned down for no fault of customer, it appears as failed application on CIBIL report.
Strangely, when I directly sent a query through the bank website, I got a response that there is no card application on my name and PAN card. I also checked my credit score, and it showed zero applications. Maybe, the company is only doing the scam of collecting customer information and selling it to telemarketers without their consent.
