The staff behavior is one of the positives, plus TCS employees are very accommodating. My daughter had a different appointment slot, but we successfully got the two slots merged. There was a typo in my form, which they got corrected on written application. Even a xerox shop was inside the campus of PSK, in case you have not brought xerox copies from home.
However, there were some issues.(i) The token officer checked my passport during daughter's application(who is minor), and asked me to get the renewal process cleared(since it was expired) before her application - as a result, we had to go through the same queues twice. My wife's passport could have been used for her application, but he did not inform us about that option.(ii) A minor name correction was required in my case due to an error in previous passport, but the officers refused to acknowledge it as'minor' change. The new passport will now be issued on that incorrect name. As a result, my daughter's application had to be revised due to father's name mismatch.(iii) Due to a glitch in their website, one of the document upload was not reflecting in my daughter's account. They informed us that our file id will be called at A1 counter(dedicated to handle cases of missing uploads / declarations), which did not happen even after an hour, despite checking several times. Finally, we were called back to queue B because they had corrected the error.(iv) We were again sent back to A1 counter for a declaration that her father's name will be as per the passport(which is incorrect).
I understand that PSK has little role to play in procedural limitations. However, they could have saved 2-3 hrs of our time, only if process was slightly better.
