Friend I stay in kolkata, and there is a Banana leaf restaurant in a placed called Rashbehari avenue, which is very nearer from my home, so I visited there quite few times.
First of all I would say the working staffs work there are very cheap and unprofessional in quality and status both.
They don't know to handle the customers in any manners,
Moreover, their behavioural conduct towards the visitors are very irritating and disapproving.
To say about the restaurant, the restaurant is quite small, and neither that is minimum like luxurious,
The restaurant is very normal overall such as others normal vegetable hotels in india, If you go to this restaurant someday, you will understand how such a bad restaurants is this from all over it's side.
Kitchen of the restaurant is very small and it's just like a fast food kitchen stall, and the kitchen seems to be much unhygienic and filthy too which you will never be admired of.
Mainly South Indian foods are mostly available in the restaurant but honestly speaking foods are much ordinary and nothing to brag for.
Now coming to the prices policy of that restaurant, friend this restaurant will chop ur head by claiming the prices for their particular particular certain items/foods.
Otherwise you just imagine 2 pieces of Normal Dahi Vada costs 110 rupees there, not only that, more of all the vat, tax, Gst mixing altogether they charge 124 rupees. just think where you have to pay nearly 150 rupees for 2 pieces of Dahi Vada without having anything more, you have already made the idea about the prices of the foods in this restaurant and as per my opinion that is very unduly.
Everyother foods also cost that much higher or more than that for the certain items.
Lastly I would want to add one more thing that the sittings material such as table, chair or Everyother single things are not likeable or commendable for such a reputed restaurant.
Altogether, It's a bad experience going in Banana Leaf, Rashbehari avenue, Kolkata.
Plz check wasting your money going this restaurant.
