Ranveer Singh is Great as Bajirao. Review on Bajirao Mastani

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making grandeur, epic kind of movies. I have often felt that his direction is more focused on the visuals and the story usually takes a back seat. But that wasn't the case in this movie.

The story is of the trials and tribulations of Bajirao and Mastani. Their eternal love for each other and their struggle. Kudos to the team for selecting such amazing actors, Priyanka Chopra was amazing as Kashibai, Deepika Padukone's portrayal of Mastani was beautiful, but the real star according to me was Ranveer Singh. I can't think any other actor could have portrayed Bajirao's character with so much conviction as Singh did. It is an absolute delight to watch him on screen. Acting, dancing, delivery of dialogue, Ranveer Singh is at the top of his game. The songs were good, just that there were too many songs. The story is heart-breaking and the acting is absolutely marvelous. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has over and over again brought such beautiful stories on big screen. I truly enjoyed watching it, recommend it for the story, acting and direction.
