I am BACK !!!

Well, if this sounds just a bit too flashy, then I am sorry. But thats the way the great one announces his return to the arena !!

End of bragging...get straight to point.

I LOVE this bike. Never ridden anything like it. Lets see what advantages it offers:

(*) The riding position is great.

(*) The seat is the longest one on any bike in any class (atleast among the ones I've seen).

(*) The headlights and the other electronics are amazing.

(*) The shocks rock.

(*) I like the look too. The back is the coolest one ever. But the tank is slightly awkward when you look from the side. Also, the headlight's slightly narrow. A broader headlight would look nice, but then it would spoil the whole theme of the wind, which is the sleekness.

(*) Super cool asymmetrical console for the first time in the market.

I got the drum brakes, but they are good enough. One thing I HAVE to mention is the console. Its the most good-looking one EVER, specially when you see it in the dark. Its got an orange backlight and the RPM meter(tachometer) has a white background that looks cool and also the asymmetrical console is unique to the WIND.

The best thing about the WIND is the smoothness. Its REALLY smooth And yeah, its also got the smoothest gear box I've ever ridden. I mean you can sit behind me and even after an hour, you probably wouldnt know how many times I've changed gear.

Whats the problem then???

Well...just one !!

I get about 40 Kmpl. Now that is PATHETIC. I want to throw away the bike due to that. But I love it too much... I showed it to both service stations in Akurdi and in Wakdewadi (for the dumb ones, these are in Pune). I still havent been able to sort out the problem. My friend's WIND gives him around 65Kmpl. I dont know why God has punished me so !! I am already a poor guy and now this !! Boo hoo hoo...

I will try to add more to this later. Please comment on this if you like it or even if you hate it !

Hi, its 17th June 05, I am adding this to my review now. The aforesaid problem regarding the mileage seems to be sorted out now. I am getting around the 60 KMpL mark now, which is really good.
