Just relocated to Bangalore, and I'll be giving my existing Splendor+ to my uncle. Travel a distance of 40+ km everyday, includes Whitefield Rd (which is in bad condition and under construction).Requirements:
1) PowerLots of speed-breakers. Need to stop and start again and regain momentum soon. Initial pickup is what matters. Not the speed beyond 60+, but the speed upto 60.
2) SizeBad roads, so I'll need a vehicle with good suspension, big tyres, Strong parts.
3) PopularityThere should be a huge number of the same vehicle on the road. So that the spare parts should be there even after 5 years. Bajaj noses ahead.
4) BrakesVery important. Disc-brakes only. Strong stops with balance.
5) Early morning startsFull marks to Hero Honda for this. Can start even after rain and flood. Haven't had the opportunity to do so with Pulsar, but I've heard it's good.
6) Customer SupportIn Chennai atleast, HH is good, Bajaj is bad. But in Bang, HH Cust service is the damn worst. Unbelievably, Bajaj (Popular Bajaj, Banashankari) is the best.Considering only the Pulsar and the CBZ X-treme, nothing else. Should be buying it in a month's time.Waiting for your comments.Regards, Jacob.
