“As the Phoenix rose from ashes after burning itself, Fr£äk-Zillä aka enticer_man has risen back from all the predicament and hez back to where he belongs i.e. keep your mouthshut.com”
All these years while I was away from the mouthpad, my interest in bikes grew manifolds. Not only bikes, but four wheelers too. Autos should be the correct word to say the least. And finally, I have got a bike for myself…The Pulsar 150 DTS-I.
The bike comes fully loaded with ALLOY WHEELS which have been changed to BLACK ones, SELF STARTER, 240 mm DISC BRAKES, 3.25” wide rear NYLOGRIP ZAPPERS and CATALYTIC CONVERTER for better consumption of gas and low end torque delivery.
I bought the bike on the 19th of September last year. The first 500 kms were up within 6 days with the bike at the service centre on the 26th .5000 came up only a day ago. The bike has not posed a big problem uptill now, except for a punctured rear tyre. The bike had a tendency of stopping suddenly in between rides and used to create problems while starting, after staying in the sun for a long time. However the problem was rectified when I started filling up the tank with more fuel, as the problem persisted only while the bike was in reserve. Thanks to the guyz at the service centre !
I have ridden Unicorns, CBZees, Graptors, Karizmas and the new Apache too, but none did I find more adrenaline pumping than the aphrodisiacal Pulsar twins. Ruthless aggression, that’s what describes these mean machines. Though the bikes mentioned above may better in terms of comfort, handling, or speed, there is something about it that makes it a show stopper. May it be that bulbous tank with that aircraft type fuel filler lid, or that dragon sized headlamp which can illuminate all the darkness of the night, or that gem of an engine(DTS-I stands for Digital Twin Spark Ignition), or those vertically resting needles, or simply the grunt which it makes as it zooms past rear view mirrors one after the other.
I have made several long distance trips and the Pulsar has never let me down. Overtaking on the highways is a breeze once you are astride this beast. The top speed attained is 115 km/hr. Acceleration is brisk, with the bike moving onto 60 in a few seconds and then onto 80 pretty quickly.
City fuel consumption figures show an average of 45 km/l and on the highways, 50-55 km/l.
And this is not my story, this is the story of every Pulsarite ! So what are you waiting for ? THE PULSAR 2xx DTSf-I ????????????????????
