The Bike is well designed, looks great – especially in Red. Does remind one of Harley Davidson bikes. But one feature according to me is really not suiting the Image of this particular bike. And that is Self-Start.
You may not agree with me, but that is because you have not seen someone else use this feature. When you see this bike parked on the roadside it does conjure up the image of a well-built muscular biker like the ones who drive Harley Davidson’s (The king of Jordan rides one occasionally - Harley not pulsar). But today when I saw this dude sitting royally on the Pulsar and pressing the Self Start button and the bike was making sputtering sounds like it had a bad cough, I really felt repulsive towards the bike.
I have driven a friend’s Pulsar, and it really is a strong bike. I liked the feel of it. (He has since sold his bike and gone for another brand but that’s not related to this review) My point is simple, to retain the bikes powerful Masculine Image, they should seriously think of removing the self-start feature. This feature is best left to tiny scooterettes. Although, I would not mind if this feature is introduced to the 100 CC regular bikes
I have only included the specific thing that I did not like in this bike. All the other specifics of the same I am sure can be found in other members reviews and hence no fun duplicating the efforts.
