Short therefore is man’s life and narrow is the corner of the heart, in one such corner silently stalled a dream “Pulsar” a  to get ride on.

First bike of my life a second handed Suzuki Max 100 R, a gift from the parents during third year of my graduation(2003) with my first ride to home happen to see a beauty cross over me, it was like a newly married man seeing another girl whom he dreamed of spending rest of his life. But” boss you are now married…Oops did I mean it wrong” parents would thrash you if you say this. My life continued with the 98CC bike nothing wrong it, it did serve me well and so do i. Learnt wheeling, 360, fitted double silencer, under wheel lights…all chunky punky stuff, still felt a ugly look from my wife sorry my bike when I glare @ my real love when it cross by, our duo was going good until 2005, decided to hand over it to another gentleman.

By the time I am employee of a big enterprise and my real love became favorite for man of young men, brain said you deserve a better one, now this time teamed up with KARIZMA, cool….i call it when it comes to performance and handling, it’s like a date with a Bollywood model, thoroughly enjoyed every date with her and as you know fantasy doesn’t last long and I broke with her soon as my heart know what I really want.

And now I am married(really) and my wife she wanted me to preserve KARIZMA the bike we roamed like fools before marriage without understanding that MAN THING, soon my wife left me to her mom’s home for her first delivery and leaving my life blank. On a sleepless night in sidelines of see shore happen see a couple bonded with a tight hug flashy-pass by, it took off my breath for a second and reminded me of my old love, call it because of the couple….YOU ARE WRONG…it’s the one which carried the romantic kids….A ‘Blue Pulsar’ the same one which I dreamed of dating with, years ago. How did I forget her all these years? how did the  passion died off? Mind must be crazy, not any longer I decided to  fulfill my life-time dream immediately.

I dRajeev_Vermarately wanted the same blue-heavy one which I saw in 2003 not the new lighter kids, did some searches in quickr, sulekha, olx…., almost none fitted my bill coz of color mismatch/year of birth/class of art. On that tiresome evening my car was clocking @  120KM/hr coz of frustration, a kid quickly crossed the road, thank to TATA the makers of my car for building an efficient breaking system, got off car with a red face to trash the idiot, but I stopped involuntarily as my eyes were staring at something  what read “FOR SALE”, Yes.Yes…a blue pulsar, forgived the gentleman who was an idiot to me a while ago, walked straight to the mechanic shed, to my surprise it was an 2003 make  and a pure coincidence the registration number read TN10-AY-882, which was my Date of birth(10/8/82). I decided to pay any price to transform myself ‘GAY’….Ofcourse “My love is Definitely male”?.

I knew well the boy was maked up externally with a plenty of internal damages, paid 12k without negotiating with the guy, he raised his eye brows for a while when I gave him my car keys to take it to my home as I decided to drive the bull, the drive told me clearly he was ill and been starving for years to be treated well. I silently told “Don’t worry dear, I am here for you”.

Drove it straight to my reliable mechanic who hospitalizes only karizma and premium bikes, he told I must be fool to buy this sick one, I requested to heal him at his best at any cost, since we were friends for years now he agreed to admit him as an exception. Three days passed by I worried about my friend now and I couldn’t be happier when my mechanic told “He is ready”. Took a week-off from my office ran straight to see my love, Damn….he was red Ooopss….Blue hot. A finely tuned engine filled with imported gold oil, battery, tyres, shocks, new clutch plates, brake pads, chain sprocket and a pleasant surprise of street lights replaced with a blue one. he is now transformed “Blue-eyed boy”, I was absolutely happy to pay him 15k and when I ignited him for the first time, it thanked me a with a confident roar…!. “I am back”.

The next morning I decided to stretch to Chidambaram which was 200 KMS from my place, the front wheel rose up like an Arabian horse in the moment a released the clutch it was so natural and I was not able to resist myself 2…3…4….5….! no time I touched 100…certainly I was able to feel the josh which I never felt with my previous dates.

The gear shift was butter smooth and the roar was a Beethoven’s symphony to ears, the performance was mindblowing, the best part was in 5th gear @20 KMPH I was able to reach 100 without clutch and tuck-tucks from engine way ahead of Karizma, truly its parents(the makers) were master  class. There was no silly sounds from any parts of the bike and aerodynamics were kept in mind while designing its curves. I was easily able to touch 120 KMPH and the roads never let me drive beyond that, when I say driving awsome at high speed it doesn’t mean that other bikes can do it, it’s the confidence, the performace, the stability the bike gives you at that speed and pulsar is certainly unmatchable in its class. People say maintain your speed @ 40-50 Km/hr to get the best….Dude gimme a break, why would I get a bike capable of 100 to drive 40, I personally recommend, if you consistently travel over 100 change your oil @ 750 KMS and 80 @ 1200 KMS and under 70@ 1500 to get the best performance and pals a very important thing always purchase personally and use a shell/Castrol oil and stay with the mechanic while he changes the oil unless he is reliable.

So far I have driven almost all brand bikes and Yes the Blue eyed boys stays billion’s ahead, not just because it stays close to my life but IT IS.!

Alike Maruthi ad’s no matter how good the automobile is we are always concerned about Fuel eff…Yes it offered me a mileage of 48KMPL least and 60 KMPL best, I could now completely realize why Pulsar is so much obsessed by every one.

As my wife is not in home, I drove like a Psycho for 1800 Kms in 5 days covering Chennai- Pondy-Chidambaram-tanjore-trichy-coimbatore-Chennai and the performance was just the same from 1st Kms – 1819th  KM and it was life time dream became true.

I believe as you do the blue eyed boy would stay with me forever as it’s like love at first sight got transformed into a relationship.
