I bought a new prepaid connection in October 2017. That number was earlier used by some lady'Nisha'. She must have brought some product via Bajaj Finance and didn't repay her loan/EMI.
The day SIM was activated I got a message from Bajaj about'Bounced EMI' and I need to pay some extra charges as well. I ignored the message. A few days later I got a call from some random number asking me when will I pay EMI. That guy was rude and used abusive language. I told him I am not the person you're looking for, he said this is the registered number on which the loan was taken. I tried to explain to him that I have recently bought this number and I have no Idea about it. He said these are old excuses and no matter what you have to pay EMI. I disconnected the call and thought it will be over after a few days.
But that wasn't the case, I got many calls during that period of time from different numbers(landline and mobile). The calls started from 8 A.M to 10 P.M. I was tired and stressed answering them so I switched off my cell for a week. After a week there were no calls and after few days I got a message from Bajaj stating thank you for the payment. I thought this is over but that wasn't the case.
After six or eight months a got a message from Bajaj stating XXXX is your OTP for purchase from JAIN ELECTRONICS. I was surprised to get such message as I completely forgot about the past incident. I ignored it, but after some time a got a Thank You message from Bajaj. I was like how did that person be able to make a purchase as I didn't share any OTP. There was a constant message from Bajaj about EMI's and Reminder calls. I was totally frustrated with such calls and message. Recently, again I am getting calls by people who don't have any kind of manners, they have abused me and threatened me. I can't block their calls as they call from different numbers. I am filing a case against them at consumer court. I have to suffer all this and I am not even responsible for it.
I would suggest people at Bajaj, rather than spending money on your stupid advertisement, Hire some educated executives, who will at least have the decency to talk or just LISTEN calmy.
