For all those who intend on buying this mean machine, I would say its value for money if you respect it and drive it SENSIBLY.

Once on a signal sum young lad also on an Avenger asked me how much it gives. I said I respect my bike it gives me da max... 55kmpl on the highway. He thought I was kidding and blasted off. Keep the Avenger clean and drive sensibly not over 60kmph and this bike will give you loads of love.

I used to drive my Avenger 180DTSi EVERYDAY (yes more than twice up & down everyday) from Bombay - Pune (~170kms town-town) with great ease and it went on and on and on till I clocked around 75000 kms in less than 2yrs. STILL it was as new and strong as ever. The guy I sold my bike to thought I was selling him a 2002 model of Kawasaki Eliminator modified into Bajaj Avenger. hehehe!!

I loved it a lot. No handling problems, no cold start problems, nothing bad about the bike except for the seating which screwed my tail bone. Thats cause I am a little heavy.

Seriously guys, after having driven Harleys and Yamahas around the world, I realized Avenger was as neat a bike.

If you are looking to buy one, go ahead eyes closed. :) You wont regret. Trust me.
