I've been trying to renew my policy for 30 minutes now, on hold on 18001032529. It is shocking how insurance companies can get away with shoddy customer service. The IVR says "your call will be answered in 1 minute" and has been saying it for 29 minutes now, which means it isn't actually calculating hold time, but just playing this message. The fact that the person holding the call might be on hold for 30 minutes or more is not mentioned.
Best of all, after holding the call for 30 minutes, the person who picks up with phone will transfer your call and you will be on hold again. 30 more minutes of that terrible Bajaj Allianz jingle.
If you would like a health policy that pretty much guarantees you a heart-attack or stroke every time you call their customer service, go for Bajaj Allianz.
