Baghban or Bagh - banned? Am I here to point out the cons of the movie? I don't know. The movie has relatively different storyline but the director thoroughly fails to keep the audience on their seats. I mean the direction is really pathetic. There is no point in the movie where the audiences feel the excitement of what is going to happen next.

                        • THE GOOD PART - - - - - - - - - - - -

The one of the two good parts of the movie is performances by BIG B and Dream-Girl (how does she look so beautiful at this age?) Hema Malini. They are the only two people on screen that make the movie worth one watching. The rest seem pretty low profiled before the two giants of acting. The other good part of the movie is its music. Aadesh Shrivastav repeats the excellent job he did for Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Ghum and recently Chalte Chalte. Dance numbers like Meri Makhna… Chali Chali…and Holi song Holi khele raghuveera give good entertainment with a bit of laugh as well. Dances by BIG B and Dream-Girl are very impressive. Even at the age of grandparents they dance like teenagers. Performance by Paresh Rawal is worth applause as well.

                    • THE PLOT - - - - - - - - - - - -

Well there isn't any but for the sake of putting one B.R.Chopra tries to teach the youngsters their responsibilities towards their parents. It's quit annoying for people who bunked their classes for this lecture. The characters in the movie seems a bit very close to fantasy because either they are too bad or too good to be real. BIG B and Dream-Girl's sons and their wives together make good negative energy in the movie but the are not convincing enough to bother anyone. Scenes where there is the clash between the thoughts of the two generation the audiences feel as if they are watching some Ekta Kapoor production K-named bakwas soap (Kaghban?) Moreover the good son played by ( Teeereee Naaaaaam) Salman Khan and his wife played by Mahima Chaudhary are really wasted in the movie. Salman talks twice or thrice on his cell phone with BIG B and Dream-Girl who adopted him in his childhood. He worships them like GOD that too literary with their photograph in his worship temple and an aarti he sings about them. It makes it really hard for the audience to accept Salman in such a role especially after Teeeeereeee Naaaaaam. By the way he manages to dance with his wife in their 10 or 12 mins. part in the movie.

                    • IN THE END - - - - - - - - - - -

In the end movie leaves the audience with a query in mind that was this movie really worth it? Some may feel it's a torture, some may feel it's quite off-beat but OK, but I don't think there will be someone who will say that it was a paisa wasool movie.
