This airport is considered as gateway to the Beautiful hills of Darjeeling and the Organic state Sikkim and considering these in mind you might imagine anyone airport which is totally neat and clean as thousands of people travel to these places for holidays. If you are expecting this Airport to be your Dream one then you will be disappointed.
If you are following my reviews then you must be knowing that I visited darjeeling and sikkim and now going Delhi from bagdogra via Vistara
This is a very small airport and has huge number of passengers.
The facilities are lower than a regional airport should have and this airport is also a military base and international flights operates from here.
Even there is not proper care of sanitation and hygiene.
Overall this airport is not good but its the only choice if you choose airways for travelling darjeeling or sikkim. So deal with it.
