Do not be misled by the title, it doesn’t seem the way it shows. The saying stands true, do not judge this movie by its cover.

It has got to be the funniest chick flick after a real loooonnngggg time. Get ready to get your bones tickled. All the mommies out there, this movie is your present story and definitely what you need to do when you get down and low with life.

The story is about three moms, who are literally juggling their life around their families; for better or for worse. The first mom is Amy(Mila Kunis), who is late at everything, late for getting to work, getting kids ready for school, late for PTA, late for bake sale, you know it and its late. She has two kids, brat girl-child, entitled boy-child and a man-child husband, also a dog-child; make it four kids. When she finds her husband having an online affair, things go awry.

She gets social over PTA race for President against Gwendolyn(Christina Applegate) and then finds new moms who are as overworked as her. Kiki(Kristen Bell) has four kids and a husband who doesn’t do his fair share. She has low self-esteem and confidence and then it is all good when they meet Carla Dunker(Kathryn Hahn), a divorcee with a foul-mouth and a young jock son. She could actually pass for a a definition of “bad” mom judging from her language and behaviour, but all she wants to do is show these ladies that there is more to life than just juggling their heart beat between home, kids and work.

They go out, have their raunchy and tardy adventure of drinking binge, chugging chocolate milk in a supermarket, cooing at a child and having their share of party. They even butt their heads with PTA President Gwendolyn and here tip-top gang of moms, Stacy(Jada Pinkett Smith) and Vicky(Anne Mumolo). When Gwendolyn pulls Amy’s daughter into the fight, it is a step taken too far and they are out to become more defendable. The Bad Mom rampage and all the shenanigans, just can make your head and cheeks ache with laughter.

Let’s thank the comedy Gods for giving us Kathryn Hahn, it is obvious for her to take the character totally on without much to do. She is the baddest mom in the Bad Moms of Director Jon Lucas and Scoot Moore. She has delivered as performance that secures her position as one of the most electrifying performers on screen today. Mila Kunis does her role satisfactorily, smidgen of time, but effortlessly funny, looks fabulous and teaches world’s mom with a stump speech.  Kristen Bell, as a shy and overworked mom does good being timid, learning and trying all the stuff that Carla forces down the throats of their two. Applegate as Gwendolyn, is also a perfect casting.

The movie is not abut the bad moms, but how moms can take care of their children, which is impossible, it takes a village to do so. This movie more over focuses towards how today’s mom need to let themselves take a time-out, live a little and only then they can give back the happiness they have gained from this break. The beauty of this movie is that, the plot is broad and silly at times but never goes over the bridge. Today’s world showing much more of women can do and this movie is one of them, not some stereotypical, pigeonhole insult. It is all very recognizably human and good fun.

The movie is completely who are moms and needs to know how to let some hair down, totally recommended for my mom and every other mom out there. Take some time out and really do make this movie your sole goal this weekend.
