It's a very bad experience with Backpackclan as we were cheated by the Salesman Mayank, all the promises made by him are false like
- As promised by Mayank (salesman) we will get the bikes for checking a day before but we get the bikes just 15-20 mins before starting of trip and when we said some of the problems they said mechanic will get them resolved during the trip.
- He said we will be provided with almost new RE helmets but we get Rs. 200-300 local helmets with broken voyger.
- We opted for triple sharing rooms but the room size was too small that if we go with it, one person has to sleep just outside toilets so we arrange one room on ourself.
- He said that we will get new gears but we were provided with the old used gears which were not in good condition.
- Initially he promised that the riding jackets will be arranged on rent for us but after so many followups he said one day before, that the rent will be Rs.4000 so there also we have to compromise with the safety.
- He promised that medical support & oxygen cylinder will be there but after one incident happened when one of our co - rider slipped so they do not have antiseptic cream with them
& another incident when one of our team member required oxygen then we got to know that they do not have oxygen support also.
- On the first day when we were reaching to Zirakpur, there is nobody to welcome us or to arrange room allotment, then we called our salesman Mayank he said we are reaching by evening but then he switched off his phone and there is nobody for us.
- He also promised that we will be getting some discount but we didn't receive any.
- It is also promised that there will be drone and photographer but it was not there.
Although we (9 pax) travelled all the way from Kerala for this ride so we don't have any option so we have to compromise and go for the ride as after not getting anything when we tried to reach out to the operator but no-one is picking our phone.
Height of unprofessionalism.
When ride started it was well managed by Captain (Gautam) & mechanic (Bilal). Kudos to them.
But overall we were cheated by the Salesman Mayank. So be careful to deal with them and get everything checked.
