Bachna o Bollywood fans! The KILLER is here:)
The story is all about happy-go-lucky Raj and his lady love during various phases of his life. The first plot [1996] of the story is beautiful Switzerland. 18 year old Raj falls for Mahi [Minissha Lamba] in train. Following the storyline of DDLJ, Raj finds his own way to spend time with his first crush. [Were 18 years girls during 1990s so dumb and did not bother to check the next train time with station master?] An imaginary poem and he made the lass through lip-lock:D And we are presented the song ‘Ahista ahista’ in serene background. The fun acts like – getting into chocolate shop & trying varieties to fill appetite or Raj trying hard to maintain the spike hair-style – the few teenage acts made me to think all the stupid things we used to do. I was lost for a moment. Oh boy! Now comes the real ‘trying to create Killer image’ boy. The typical ‘raat gayi baat gayi’ attitude! Are girls really so silly @this age and can actually start think of getting married to a 18 year girl? Ranbir as 18 year old Raj is really good. The pranks, typical ‘trying to be hero among friends’ is portrayed really well. But I think it would have been good to see someone else as Mahi. Minissha’s skin texture made it not so easy to take her in that role.
Time goes on, so too Raj. 2002 and he is employed@Microsoft [Gawd, he studied too… Now I know the reasons for MS bugs:D]. Tell me, is it allowed to break the wall between two houses so easily [this question is for M’bite MSians]. Well:D the chemistry with HOT & sizzling Radhika [Bipasha] starts with another lip-lock inside lift. Is Ranbir turning next Imran Hashmi or following sis Karishma [remember Raja Hindustani] to get his foot strong? Poor luck dude! Even this time the lass turns to be a ‘TYPICAL’ Bhartiya Naari and all set for knot accepting all ‘Gumm’ in life ‘Hustey Hustey’. Do you think Raj is the guy to go for it? That too when he is just to fly abroad? Hahaha – he boards the flight leaving Radhs babe in ‘Shaadi ka Joda’ waiting outside the registrar office. Ranbir good again to represent the bindaas, just started earning [that too good buck] boy well. Needless to say, Bips is hot. But could someone put some light - why all aspiring models/actors wear short & shorter/skimpy dresses? May be the Mumbai’s high cost of living is the reason:O
2008 and our Raj is owner of a cabin in Microsoft Melbourne office, enjoying his life to the core. Whacking the entire condom rack? Was the stock meant for entire ‘BAH’ during outdoor shoot:D [grin grin]? This time it’s a professional and educated cab-driver Gayatri [the lip lock came much late though]… ‘Khuda Jaane’ song [by KK & Shilpa Rao] in Intaly is mind-blowing. Our dude behaves like a typical ‘Bhartiya purush’ and proposes her on a beautiful night! Haha – duniya is gol. Our killer gets dumped aur kahani mein twist.
Killer cries? Afterall human being and a good try. But glycerin seems to be expired one.
First half of the movie flows well … Second half the moved like ‘80 model car on first gear’. Phoren location, babes, lovely music made the first half really interesting. Kunal Kapoor, Jr. Paintal are good in their short roles. Kunal, we fans would prefer to glance your curly locks:)
Editing for the movie could have done better. I feel, those eye-catching gaps could have been taken care of.
Minisha: Babe you need to do something for those wrinkles else the dresses & hair do won’t help much
Bips: The screen is kaafi garm. You danced really well in ‘Lucky Boy’. Loved the way you treated your newly appointed PA [doing nail polish for you?]
Oh Deepika – I just love your height. Your face is too cute – just like a doll. But why are you so pathetic as a package? When I see you complete on screen, something does bother my eyes [whatever]
Ranbir: Took the right track from your Dad’s list haan! Guy, I glimpsed your dancing skill in Saawariya but you are too good in BAH. It looks like the Killer is here to reign.
BAH, is a good timepass movie … I rate 3 out of 5 - for this one! Ofcourse, Killer Ranbir, the songs, Kunal, locations made me to enjoy 3.15 hrs [last but not the least popcorn & Pepsi are also included in the list] …
